  1. @Cheeseburgh I'd totally take that compliment. Your new age is 45!
  2. @GreenTealael CHICKEN!! And a gorgeous upside down you!
  3. @Chiptress I love seeing other peeps photos coz there are parts of the world I'll probably never see. When you start walking around Long Island do post your pics!!!
  4. Just goes to show, you never know how good a few kind words might make someone feel!! I am known in my family for being a terrible liar. It's so bad that when my daughter wanted to come to a movie with me she was about 6 months too young to get into, she didn't want me to open my mouth to answer if we got asked how old she is.
  5. @Cheeseburgh oooooh another podcast to listen to *making a note*. Congrats too!
  6. ummyasmin replied to sillykitty's topic in The Lounge
    @Orchids&Dragons oooooh I love your skirt!l
  7. I agree with @FluffyChix - it wasn't something I realised would happen but gradually I began to get my active just because i wanted to be. I always used to push myself to do things like try and exercise or do housework but after having lost a shittonne* of weight I accidently discovered I like doing stuff more. I even run up and down the stairs without meaning to. Seriously I find myself doing it without realising it. I've got places to BE, peoplez. * actual measurement used in my house
  8. Woot Woot. Just take it a day at a time. As you say, it really is a journey.
  9. I (re)discovered podcasts last month and have been listening to them compulsively. Dr Death was scary but Man in the Window had me freaking out when I listened to it driving home in the dark one night.
  10. It's Totally true Dr. Ummyasmin ? Awwwww ? you gave me all the warm fuzzies ?
  11. Good luck @Mikeyy you are better prepared than most! You got this!
  12. I'm already jealous of you Americans with your Premier Protein, now I have to envy your Club Pilates too? Waaaaaaa
  13. Thx. I live in rural Ireland so my class options are limited ? I was wondering specifically about swimming workouts coz we do have a gym with a pool (which I just joined).
  14. I heard from a mutual friend that my friend who is really intelligent, told them I was the smartest person they ever met. I was stoked (even though it's not true hahaha)
  15. I loved Baritastic but when I switched to an iPhone I discovered it's not available in my region waaaaaaa. So I tried a bunch of apps and settled on MyNetDiary and it's freakin' fantastic. So easy to use and lots of little extras like it automagically chooses recent foods and serving sizes really well (hard to explain but when I was using the Samsung Health app it was so frustrating for losing my favourites even though I put them in all the time). It does barcode scans really easily even for Irish UK food. I found the halal chicken sausages from my little Asian shop in the database!!!!!
  16. Congratulations!! What a victory. That's a year of hard work but if you hadn't have done it, you'd still be a year older but in nowhere near as good shape. We'll done.
  17. @sideeye there's a workout other than just swimming up and down the lanes a whole bunch??? What do you do?
  18. Thank you muchly. I joined the whole family up for a month AFTER I asked them if they wanted to, but when I actually did it, they went pale and objected so I converted their two month trials into three months for me so sucks to be them bwwaaahahahah
  19. Thank you dearheart ?????
  20. Hella yes, I can relate to this. If I lose too slowly I’m aaaarreggghhh it’s stopping working. If I get a whoosh of weight loss I’m relieved but wondering when it will stop. ?
