  4. Im on day two so i am right there with ya! Its hard but try and remember that its gonna be worth it in the end! Also, come here and vent often. Anytime u get an urge to eat. Or just come on and read other posts as inspiration if u dont feel like talking. Good luck, we will get through this!
  5. Mine had me give up caffeine, alcohol and carbonation. Told me to practice "eating in order" protein first, then veggies and then carbs if still hungry. Make sure and include a fruit or veggie at every meal. Oh, and not to drink my calories and aim for a minimum of 64 oz of water a day. Also to practice not drinking with my meals.
  6. Hey, we have the same date! I use a cpap also and agree with the nasal pillow. It sits right below your nose. If you do happen to be a mouth breather but cant stand something on your face, they make a chin strap. Try and relax and know they have alot of experience and maybe ask if they could take it off when they see you are starting to come out of your anesthesia? Couldnt hurt to ask. Good luck!

  13. Siggis has a "No added sugar" line in the 4% milk fat. The one I have has 5 sugar, 120 cals ,4 fat and 11 protein.
  14. Today is the first day of my pre op diet as well. Wish me luck, things could get ugly!
  15. My doctor says if you choose to use a childrens chewable make sure it says "complete" multivitamin.

  20. @RickMMy sheet is titled "liver shrink diet" 1 shake breakfast Midmorning piece of fruit 1 protein bar for lunch Midafternoon piece of fruit 3 oz lean protein, vegetable salad with 1 serving vinaigrette or fat free dressing, 6 unsalted crackers, 1 piece of fruit. Evening snack 1 piece of fruit
  21. That was my thought as well. Mine calls for 4 servings of fruit a day. Thought it was very strange.
  22. Have any of you ever heard of having multiple servings of fruit on the pre op diet?
