Calories for stage 2 diet
My doctor only focused on protein and fluids at that point. He didn't even mention calories.

Vitamins and Supplements
I take multivitamins, Citracal (not at same time), magnesium (leg cramps), biotin (hair), sublingual B12, probiotics (occasionally when I think about it) and Regular Girl Prebiotic Fiber & Probiotic Blend, recommended by my NUT for regularity.

Food Before and After Photos
Interesting concept, I have no idea. And it's too late to go back to my old stomach and experiment!

But is it your hunger monster or craving monster?

Food Before and After Photos
I don't know if it's that or just a very acid stomach.

Am I weird or is it just me
One of my twins cooked fried chicken and fried okra with coleslaw for dinner last night - all homemade. Is it possible to love somebody and hate them at the same time? I did eat one chicken nugget. It was delish.

Food Before and After Photos
I chase the pleasure, not the full feeling. I realized after surgery that I may never in my life have felt true hunger. I didn't realize it at the time, but I think I've always had a ton of acid in my stomach, so when my stomach hurt, I fed it. My dad did the same thing. To go with that, I've never felt really "full", either. Not even holidays like Thanksgiving. I generally ate until I was too embarrassed to get any more and enjoyed the last bite as much as the first. But I never felt stuffed, ever. Now I get the post-surgery "stuffed" feeling occasionally, but that translates to "I want to throw up". I don't think it's what "full" feels like normally, but then I don't know.

Food Before and After Photos
I am so lucky. I have some massive cravings, but absolutely no true hunger. Doesn't change the fact that I still truly enjoy the experience of eating and want to keep on eating and eating . . .

Anxiety About Getting Rid of Clothes
I had developed a sizeable stack of clothes in the corner of my closet and hadn't made a move to get rid of them. Like you, I think I was kind of paralyzed by the "finality" of the act. Then a friend at work mentioned a woman at her church in dire need who was about my size. (Husband had cleared out the house, including all the clothes (even the kid's toys) while she was out with the kids one day.) She was about my size. It was so easy for me to pack up the clothes for her, I even pulled extras off the hangers that I hadn't quite "ungrown" yet, because I was doing it for someone else. Maybe you can reach out to a local shelter and see if they have someone your size?

Am I weird or is it just me
It is extremely rapid. I don't have any idea what your expectations were. A lot of people on here hardly lose anything the first month due to swelling or other issues. Don't compare yourself to others. You'll just make yourself miserable. We're all on our own path.

What have you been putting off?

Baking with Protein supplements
The ones that didn't work for me were recipes that called for protein powder, but didn't specify the brand. There's a lot of difference, including the size of the scoop. Most recipes just say "1 scoop", but not how many grams.

Can we take Aleve?
If your doctor said "no NSAIDs," then no.
