  1. Thank you. I'm happy to pay it forward. I learned a lot from posts here, as well.
  2. This was one of my first NSVs and it was awesome! Congrats on your success!
  3. As you should. He's a man and would probably have lost 80, but what the heck. You play the hand you're dealt. Congrats on your success!
  4. Sure, for me it's only a 40-minute drive! Fluffy's the one who'd have to make a major effort. And you, of course!
  5. Love Field is the home airport for Southwest Airlines.
  6. So we won't be going skydiving together?
  7. Thanks! I've never bought the single servings, but it would be a good way to try something out.
  8. Thanks, Ash! For the brownie link, did you try the protein powder they recommended? Which other brands do you use?
  9. I'm so happy that you got approved quickly! Best wishes for a full recovery!
  10. It couldn't hurt to replace some of your water with a SF Gatorade/Powerade type drink.
  11. DRUMROLLLLL . . . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Wow, that is expensive! Not sure I'm willing to shell out $61 for a product I may not like. I read the bad reviews and was impressed to see that someone responded to every one of them.
  13. Yeah, I've tried a couple of recipes and they came out dreadful - very dry. Like chewing on a dry sponge.
  14. Congrats on your success! Thank you for sharing your inspirational story!
  15. Relief from hunger pain is mixed. Some people feel no true hunger (but can still have wicked cravings) and others feel the same hunger as before. I don't think there's any way to know which side you'll fall on until after surgery. You're doing the right thing in preparing now, well before surgery. You don't want to wait until surgery to wean off sugars and caffeine. Follow up with the surgeon's office. Usually they have some sort of diet that they want you on now. Good luck!
  16. Your surgery was 2 weeks ago?
  17. @mystars.0110 Wow, you're doing this together! That's awesome! (Although since men lose faster, he should have been chivalrous and given you the head start! )
  18. Have you all noticed that the weight-loss ticker has nearly hit 5,000,000 pounds! Wow! Thanks, BariatricPal!
  19. Yeah, you're overthinking it! Unless you plan to tell them that you need to lose weight to fit through the door on an alien spacecraft or something!
