  1. Capino (caprese) crepe before, during and “I should have stopped sooner” ?

    Amazing ?
  3. I think its super reasonable to expect the weightloss you experience per month to start off large then taper down as you get closer to your lowest weight. But 8-10lbs *every* month might be rare although it can happen. You may even experience erratic patterns that don’t look like a steady slope down but like steps (stalls or plateaus, but not everyone does) I have seen people make calendars that show their losses : I hope the visual helps & congrats on Onederland ❤️

  6. Arepa, shredded chicken & avocado with rosado
  7. Be careful! You’ll never be able to give them up, then you’ll have random avocados in your purse “just in case” you need them ????
  8. I was very happy with virtual consults because I traveled a long way for surgery. Also I became even more confident in my decision to go that route once almost every doctor adopted Telehealth virtual visits during the pandemic. The bulk of the consults were picture based, probably because they could zoom in on a static photo and possibly game plan according to measurements. Once you’re in person the surge may suggest slightly different things based off of what they can see clearer or feel. This did happen to me and we talked through the reasons for the changes (*these were not upcharging changes but recommendations based on safety*). I looked up my surgeons credentials and previous patient results. Then went deep into research of the procedures and techniques. Doing that helped me gain confidence in my knowledge of what was going to happen and I was actually able to follow along with what the surgeon was talking about.
  9. And the small amount becomes a meal ? But If bread triggers your hunger (real or head) I would wait as long as possible before eating it, as some form of hunger returns at some point for *most* of us I would try to delay that as long as possible because honestly it’s easier to lose weight when you don’t want to eat ?

I love these dresses! Even better that you can enjoy them immediately in the Florida sun ?
  13. First order of business: ❤️ Happy Birthday ❤️ Change vitamins if you can. Try to split them in half, get tasty chewable versions or even liquid & patch varieties. Hydration, food and life WILL get easier with time. You are in the very early stages post op so please give yourself a little grace. You don’t have to be perfect just consistent. Good Luck !
  14. I didn’t have any lemons but had pineapple juice so I added it, but now want to try pineapple pieces! I’m not totally snowed in but I hate the snow now so that’s the excuse I use to stay indoors as much as possible ?
  15. GreenTealael replied to sillykitty's topic in The Lounge
    I totally see it!
  16. Egg salad “sandwich” but what’s missing from the pic and log are the 10 pretzels plus half of an oatmeal raisin cookie so this meal was more like 500 calls ?
  17. Yes Unfortunately. I wish that there was just a set price for a procedure but it *seems* that when dealing with insurance companies (vs self pay) there is a range or a maximum Doctors and Hospitals will bill insurance companies. If you were to pay for surgery completely out of pocket they *probably* could give you a better estimate mostly because your are billed upfront and sometimes after if there was an unexpected variable. If you have access to any of your health insurance bills & documents (especially the Explanation of Benefits - EOB) check your last few appointments or procedures to see what was billed to your insurance, what the insurance actually paid and the patient responsibility amount (what you had to pay). That might help you understand your particular coverage a little better. Also definitely call your insurance company to verify coverage of the procedure and ask for it in writing. I know there are many people on this forum in the healthcare or Insurance field that may have even better explanations. I hope that helps a little ❤️
  18. I wasn’t given one for WLS but, it was necessary for plastics. If you decide you need it, I would suggest getting one that is not expensive as you probably won’t use it for very long. Here’s an example: https://www.amazon.com/Wide-Abdominal-Binder-Belly-Wrap/dp/B08FYLDQJ4/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=plus+size+abdominal+binder+post+surgery&qid=1612884366&sr=8-12
  19. It looks absolutely perfectly cooked ?
  20. That price markup! I only pay $3.12 for these. I’d rather not eat ?
