  1. I can never able to depend on “motivation” either because so many things can interfere. I need to set long term goals instead so I have a timeline and milestones to reach. I agree that you should do whatever you can to fix the issue now because this may be the easiest time to get back on track since you’re still (relatively) early in your WLS journey. Good luck, cheering you forward!

  3. Stewed Chicken w/ potatoes (Caribbean style) with kale and couscous. It was originally supposed to be a curry but I added a little too much brown sugar ? Anyone else making their own curries?
  4. I’m shopping my pantry so I made Cake (semi homemade ?) I added pure SF glazed donut syrup and cacao to half the batter to try to marble it (success? Idk) Everyone enjoyed it and didn’t even notice it was sugar free
  5. Sleeved in 2017 then bypassed in 2019: I’ve only had very minor shedding near my temples but I could just be lucky. I also did I a lot of research and consulted my dermatologist about the issue because I really didn’t want to experience significant hair loss. I relied on the LLysine and Iron studies the most to guide my decisions on which supplements to take. Good Luck ❤️
  6. I do a bit of both. Really early on it was about portioned sizes then calories/macros when I was able to eat more. Now I spot check calories to make sure I’m on track especially if I’m eating out or something decadent. The “intuitive” eating comes from training myself to eat less than I think I can because I never wanted to be too full and feel sick.
  7. Massage or wilted kale salad always taste good ?
  8. Do you also know that I hate pasta ?
  9. What a wonderful surprise, congratulations!

  11. I’ve had the Palmini brand of hearts of palm lasagna and and linguine and it was pretty good. No one in my family knew it wasn’t pasta (although I find that it remains molto al dente) and no taste that I could detect.
  12. I only told my 2 emergency contacts beforehand. Years later I told my Mum who told everyone else ?.
  13. Everyone comes back to chips…eventually
  14. Museum and crepe family outing with 2/3 of my children. My bf ordered this monstrosity which I wanted no part of My vegan child ordered a large bowl of fresh fruit, I ordered a London Fog and had this much of my other child’s crepe suchard
  15. Don’t worry too much (I know easier said than done) but weight loss isn’t always a simple or straight path down to your goal. Sometimes you may have little increases along the way too. But it doesn’t mean you won’t be successful. If you’re following your plan and staying consistent then you’re doing great. Congratulations so far ❤️
  16. This is gorgeous! I’m going to try to make one in May.
  17. Not one single time in almost 5 years.
  18. This looks AMAZING! When you have time please please please give us the recipe and instructions. I’ve tried for a long time but could never get the almond and coconut flour cakes to work.
