  1. It was a mild curry but I may try making it spicy next.
  2. I ❤️ Sweet potatoes too. The quinoa was curry the sweet potatoes were plain but I feel like I’ve had sweet potatoes in a curry before.
  3. Curry Quinoa and sweet potato I guessed the measurements ?
  4. I use Sweet Baby Ray’s. I’ve never had their regular type so I don’t know the difference. ? The regular is probably fine to use calories and carb wise because honestly I use regular ketchup.
  5. It is so simple that I contemplated even posting these because I barely did anything to them. The chicken could have cooked itself honestly ?. I don’t know how anyone else is doing but I became so burnt out on cooking that everything I do has to be very simple or I can’t be bothered (with the exception of my fat too ornate pies ?)
  6. @MarvelGirl25 WOW! Were you away writing a foodie book because wow!
  7. Basil pesto & marinara linguine (Hearts of Palm) w/ spinach garnish My daughter said I tricked her because she thought it was pasta ?
  8. Congratulations!
  9. Most plans given by Bariatric teams *may* allow bread months or years from where you are (but definitely not now). Some don’t recommend it at all. Did you receive any instructions from your Bariatric team about bread? I tried a bread based food at around 4 months post op (under advisement) and did not each much of it. At 4+ years out, it is still not a staple in my diet and I choose to eat mostly zero/low carb bread instead.
  10. Since you absolutely have to eat them (no other choices right now) I say cook the noodles until they are fully expanded (bordering on overcooked) to try to prevent them front expanding further in your stomach. Also you won’t need very much to eat now, so how much of it you eat in a serving will be limited anyway. But as soon as you can shop again ask the good people of this forum and they will help you chose things that will stretch your budget. (On a side note, I would love to see a thread created for an extremely tight budget - Bariatric style) Good Luck ❤️
  11. fantastic suggestions! Also eggs are good (if you can handle them early out)
  12. Having the time of her life! I bet this is going to be a core memory ❤️
  13. Air Fried Spice rubbed chicken tenders w/no sugar added BBQ sauce
  14. They look phenomenal ? Which flavors are these?
  15. I made my very first hand cut zucchini pasta last night! ? I took about 3 forkfuls to taste but this meal was for someone else
