  1. I would definitely mention it to your surgeon for a real answer! But if I was guessing (which I am btw): If it’s only happening when drinking cool to cold drinks maybe the temperature is causing vasoconstriction which is causing cramping. Maybe stick to warmer fluids until you and your surgeon figure out why it’s happening.
  2. I ❤️ your prepping. I think I need to get back to it as soon as the weather turns.
  3. Greek yogurt. This one had too much sugar but the ones I usually get were sold out. Is anyone else noticing emptier shelves because of the start of the school year?
  4. I’ve used all types of the ready made shakes that have the consistency of creamer/cream (Premier, lean shakes, fairlife, etc.) Go with the flavors and consistency you like the most.
  5. Congratulations on a successful surgery so far! Are you supplementing for protein ? You may feel more satisfied if you increase protein. Carbs sometimes can make you hungrier. It may help to eat separately from your family for a while. It could be really helpful if you eat before you prepare your family’s meals so you are full and no longer tempted to eat off plan. Also please if you can help it, don’t eat off plan this early post op especially if solids aren’t allowed yet.
  6. I used to drink coffee with “creamer” many years ago then I switch to real cream (heavy cream or half & half). After surgery I switched the cream for protein shakes added to the coffee. It was amazing and I highly recommend it. It helped me feel better about the amount of coffee I was drinking because I was also getting protein. I did quit cold turkey a few years ago but because I still got caffeine from the tea I drank I never had withdrawal symptoms. There are a few alternatives out there (mushroom coffee, chicory coffee) to try but they usually don’t have caffeine.
  7. If you’re using a mobile web page: Open menu choose account choose account settings scroll down to other settings Unselect everything don’t want Hope it helps!
  8. BBQ-ish chicken and cucumbers w/ EBTB seasoning. I use considerably less BBQ sauce when cooking these days. I don’t miss the mess or the calories. ?
  9. Black bean burrito made with Low carb tortillas (? really what’s the point when I’m eating beans)
  10. I found this video very helpful in explaining some reason you may need to revise from VSG to RNY
  11. Before and After Salmon pâté It’s been a while since I posted this it I still eat it regularly maybe once every month or too because it’s super easy. I ate a *little* too much this time and now I’m paying the price ?
  12. Do you like the Syntrax protein?
  13. This brand is very good . I bought it on super sale ($1) but when I looked online to order more I noticed the regular price ($6) and I’ll probably never buy it again ?
  14. Protein brownies muffins ? (the cals counted is for the entire box but each are ~ 230 cals, 9g protein, 25g carbs)
  15. Can I say I’m tired of all things vegan? Is that allowed? No? It has become increasingly difficult to cook three types of meals so I’m going to stop, again. ? Sorry about the job but you’re right, their loss.
