  1. No need to be jealous. This wasn’t authentic or as good as real dukkah ? I think I need to grind pistachios to add to it.
  2. I found a few spices I’ve been looking for!!
  3. I think the pretty peeling was an accident but now I have to keep doing it ?
  4. Sweet & spicy salmon, Mashed potatoes and Sesame cucumbers
  5. Don’t give up at all. 35 lbs gone is fantastic especially if it stays gone forever. Also it’s not the end of the road because you may continue to lose if you’re diligent. Track everything you eat and drink consistently to see if you accidentally placed yourself into maintenance calories and adjust from there. And if you ever feel like you need more help, go right back to your surgeon and ask for it. There are more avenues they can suggest if you ask (nutrition counseling, drug therapy, behavioral adjustments, etc) Good luck & cheering you forward
  6. I have to put this here! I went to the movies with my kids and saw:
  7. I usually need to breaks from gels and acrylic to rebuild the strength of my natural nail (have very hard nails until I use heavier overlays ?)
  8. I totally gave up on nail maintenance this year. I’m back to bare clipped nails.
  9. You can send the mini sweet potato pies my way
  10. Honestly I don’t believe there was any actual truffle in this. Made the aioli had truffle oil ??‍♀️
  11. Yes I updated the post because I forgot to add the heartburn it gave me
  12. Never again. My daughter ordered truffle fries thinking there would be just a few shavings of truffle on top but no. These were aioli covered monsters that no one wanted. They gave me heartburn (for the first time in 3 yrs)
  13. I’m not a good reference for weighloss after revision because I had the revision when I was at goal but the preop and stress of surgery led me to lose 10-15lbs. (I worked to regain that weight as my surgeon did not want me to lose any additional weight)
  14. Honey soy glazed crispy tofu w/ rice and green beans. Another vegan meal (not for me) but turned out so well I had to share. The secret was to deep fry the tofu. I haven’t deep fried anything in years. I forget how much oil you need. Ironically it was soybean oil, soybean curd and soy sauce.
  15. You’ve been hiding this from us!
  16. It’s not bad, feels like nothing. Same type of procedure for a (less noisy slightly more open) MRI with contrast. About halfway through they may ask you to drink a meal replacement (it was ensure for me) or administer another med to collect more data.
  17. As much as I hate to admit it, I need to start meal prep again. I think just crockpot meals if I can get away with it. It really takes the guess work out of life.
