  1. VSG was easier than a C-section (to me).

In Canada! You are hard core

Lunch date with my daughter so the bathroom stall series continues ? I’m trying to figure out how to keep the crop tops going during autumn and into winter, Wish me luck!

This color looks really good on you ?
  5. It’s professional quality for sure ❤️
  6. The antibiotics restrictions after either WLS, was that ever explained? Adding this for posterity: I don’t know how many people know this but D-Mannose is absolutely amazing for catching and stopping UTIs early. This product was recommended to me by a naturopath merchant many years ago and it has never let me down.
  7. How is everyone’s autumn/spring going so far?
  8. Perfect because I had more meals with beets. I’m taking my family along for the ride and no one is happy ? Spiced ground lamb, couscous and marinated beet salad
  9. The diet is pretty much the same pre and post op but you may find you have new intolerances. Bright side is my GERD hasn’t returned! The restriction however is different (IMHO). I can still achieve that fresh sleeve restriction but only when eating very dense and drier proteins. Otherwise the restriction is different for me. It feels like a boredom with eating then a lower stomach fullness. It may be down to the individual level what it feels like. I hope more people comment on this thread so you can get a variety of answers. Good luck!
  10. A chicken wrap at a burger chain: before and after (I did not eat the salad because there was enough salad on on the wrap)

Finally wearing something that’s not black again and I match a bathroom ?
  12. Congratulations!!!
  13. Is this the second program you have consulted @Nepenthe44? Is there any program anywhere that you think would be a better fit for you?
  14. Another option might be to find a different practice especially if you are uncomfortable with the directions and information. If you are having a hard time being complaint now, it may be worse after surgery if you need more guidance but won’t trust a word the dietitian says. Good luck!
  15. Vegetarian bowl: romaine, chana masala (Trinidadian style) and goat cheese beet salad
  16. The vegan child made vegan lasagna that I forgot to post (It fell apart during serving) I didn’t eat any but everyone else loved it. She used daiya shreds and nutritional yeast to mimic cheese flavor.
  17. Pretty amazing progress so far, Congratulations!
  18. I agree! I think people really care more about if the food was good enough by your standards. I used to help an uncle cater events. He was always concerned if people like the food. At the end of the event, he would check the garbage and barely touched items and know what was a hit or miss.
  19. I would take the food (that I actually wanted) with the explanation that I was saving it for later. No one questioned that decision because everyone takes leftovers from social events.
  20. Congrats on the productivity, I’m so happy to see you post about baking again. Sending you a thousand hugs (and my address ?)
  21. Honey hot pepper salmon (I think it’s about 4 oz) and wilted kale salad
  22. Friends! I’m so excited. I found the ridiculously good vegan dessert mix again. They were marked down to $1.28 a box. So I bought them all. Each box allegedly has 13-16 servings. Now my vegan daughter should be all set until February (when they expire or so they say… ? @summerset)
  23. I definitely hate dining out with my kids. They want 8 course meals while I just want a dessert ?
