  3. I had my revision 11/30. Zero reflux since. Recovery was a little bumpy and tough with nausea and pain but nothing major so y happy for that. I was going to take 2 weeks off and extended it to 3. So happy so far
  4. Had my revision 11/30. That was fun, not! ? I’m on soft foods, it’s going well, everything I’ve tried is tolerated well. I’m curious what others experience as far as feeling hunger signals. I have yet to feel one little tinge of hunger. I get other queues from my body like feeling tired, dizzy, shaky, that kind of need to eat feeling. But never once have I thought, I’d really like to eat now. Or that sounds good. I’ve always been a food junkie this is so strange to me. Im not complaining! Just learning to change my relationship with food has been a big deal this time around and super eye opening how much I would eat just cause it sounded good or whatever. Im eating because I have to and eat to get in my protein. I hope it lasts. What are your experiences? Also I haven’t felt full yet, very different from the sleeve. Im sticking to the recommended portions and not pushing it but even some of the amounts I would have felt that restriction with my sleeve.

  6. Hi there! I’m having my revision on 11/30. Had a nutrition class as review, stuff is getting real now!
  7. Just a little update. Got my surgery scheduled for 11/30. I asked for refresh on the diet and am signed up for a couple of classes and online groups with other patients and dietician. Having really horrible GERD this month, I have vomited like 3 times this week from it. I’m so looking forward to the relief.

  9. Thank you for the responses! It is just hard to wrap my head around what the changes will be like and trying to prepare the best I can. I'm going to get my preop scheduled soon and ask to see a dietician. I really went off my diet plan during COVID and need to just start all over. I need a refresher! For now I'm just trying to focus on water intake and more protein. I can't wait to be done with this GERD, I can't take it anymore.
  10. I was approved today for my revision. I had a sleeve done in 2017. HW 255, LW 160, CW 210 ?. Anyway, I’ve had this horrible GERD and put off my revision all through COVID, I have Barrett’s esophagus, I’ll vomit from the reflux, bad teeth, and sores in my throat. So I’m getting this done, pretty nervous!! So my questions are- (wish I asked my dr, I was so nervous at my appointment my mind was blank) what is the diet like compared to the sleeve? Same? What does the restriction feel like compared to having a sleeve? I still have some restriction but can eat way more than I could the first year out from my sleeve. I’m hoping for weight loss along with getting this GERD resolved. So this is a fresh start I’m grateful for!

  12. I have noticed after 4 months that some artificial sweeteners do this to me. If that's the case with you, you'll figure it out soon.

  14. Wow I was sleeved 3/27 and have only lost 20 lbs. I'm so frustrated thinking this isn't going to work! I'm exercising and eating right. I have about 100 lbs to lose. So angry right now.
  15. I was sleeve march 27. I lost 18 lbs yay! Starting at week 3 through week 4 I have completely stalled, 0 weight loss in over a week. What is going on?! This is discouraging. I'm so scared this isn't going to work!
  16. Never had allergies in my life. Thanks for the ideas though. I'll call my doc and see what he thinks.
  17. No meds for blood pressure. I'm hoping this is just because my body has been through a lot and it'll get better.
  18. I'm 3 weeks out, on soft foods. I haven't missed a vitamin, I get all my protein in, and all my fluids. But I feel tired and dizzy. I barely make it through the day. Does this get better? Is it normal? What have your experiences been? Thanks!
  19. Good luck everyone! My surgery is Monday as well and I've cried a lot lately, some of it nerves and some of it excitement!
  20. Thanks for the great responses! Congrats to those of you doing well! Very inspiring [emoji3] I was approved 2 weeks ago and just waiting on a date. This has been a really long two weeks!
  21. Thank you all for your responses! I got my approval last week and it's all I ever wanted but now I'm getting cold feet! Normal I'm sure [emoji3] stuffs getting real
