I agree! France was never an issue for me because there are plenty of protein choices.

Food Before and After Photos
Brunch during a recent vacation golden milk latte w/ baby biscotti, scrambled eggs and challah toast (mine) Also a mocha & apple cinnamon challah French toast (BF’s) My only gripe is every time I order a sugar free drink, I feel the physical effects like there’s still sugar in it. Orders from places with house made SF syrups usually trigger dumping but this never happens at franchise stores.

Hi! What’s the process?
Hi! I registered for the group info session that was provided. Attendance was mandatory to set up a consultation with the practice I chose. Next I had a consultation with the surgeon. We discussed the surgery and the next steps such a all of the pre op testing needed. I received a large info packet with the steps later out into a checklist and the contacts for setting up the appointments. Directly after I met with a nutritionist to go over a pre pre op diet plan and a schedule for two additional mandatory group info sessions. I set up all of the appointments I needed (sleep study, upper GI study and endoscopy, psychology, cardiology clearance primary doctor clearance, additional nutrition visit and final surgeon consultation. After insurance was submitted and accepted the last appointment was the pre op clearance with the hospital (including anesthesiologist) and beginning of the preop diet right before surgery. From begInning to end I believe the process was 5-6 months.

Are plastics worth it?
1. No the price isn’t outrageous but prices vary by region (and relative experience). One way to lower the cost is to see if insurance will cover part of it and pay the rest. You may have to work with your primary doctor or Bariactrics surgeon to establish a need such as skin irritation/infections not resolved by medications. Another way is to travel to a competitive area that has lower costs and that may include medical tourism overseas. Definitely get multiple consultations to see what the prices are in and out of your area. Some surgeons will provide free consultations and quotes (virtual) and some will charge a fee. 2. Anything non surgical might just be a waste of time and money that you could have used to pay for the skin removal surgery. Liposuction will remove additional fat from the area and retract some of the skin through wound remodeling but not large amounts of skin. 3. Definitely more painful than Bariatric surgery. But it was worth the recovery for me. 4. I did it in office where there was an en-suite OR but I had surgery in the competitive plastic surgery market of Miami where that is the standard not the exception. You have to choose what you are comfortable with but also if you can get insurance coverage that may reduce the hospital portion as well. Good Luck!

Food Before and After Photos
Ice cream: kid cup of lavender honey and lemon poppyseed. As usual too sweet for me so I didn’t finish it.

I made General Tso Tofu during meal prep (for someone else). Instead of dredging and frying (favorite version) I simply pressed and pan seared.

Any revision veterans out there
If anyone who was rooting for you watches any type of sports they should understand that your favorite team doesn’t always win but you don’t stop cheering for them every time they play.

As you probably know, results will vary. Have you pinpointed the exact reason for your regain? If it was *only* appetite suppression failure then it can go either way because you may or may not experience additional suppression. But there are pharmacological resources. Have you explored those yet?

You are amazing! I am still very interested in this budget or prepping blog. I need the inspiration as I just tossed half of a container of organic spring mix that my family swore they wanted. ?

Safe surgery and speedy recovery ❤️?- Car Sick
My car idles rough also because I need to replace the motor mounts but I’m waiting until next month when it rains less so I can do a bunch of maintenance in one day. But to answer your real question, only very early on did I get nauseated from sudden movements and it did eventually go away. Until then, ginger really does help.- Food Before and After Photos
