  1. Victorious one. . Might be an idea to start a new topic for this question. Hope it helps ????
  2. I had no issues at all even as soon as I came home from hospital.
  3. Get rid of everything as soon as it's too big. You are going forwards so don't look back!
  4. Tomlam and jesschoi Congratulations! Keke2016. How are you doing?
  5. I had crab cakes (well half of one AND it was a starter, not a main lol) in a restaurant over the weekend. It was okay but nothing beats home made fresh food so I will definitely try this! Thank you for sharing.
  6. Ditto for this. How will I dress as a thin woman? In what I like, rather than what just fits me as a fat woman. Simple.
  7. Don't feel guilty, we have all made mistakes in the past and probably will in the future! Let your surgeon know though and good luck with the surgery and a speedy recovery. Hugs Kate
  8. Thank you for the ideas (which I am keeping ) It's going to be a while before I can try them as I am only 4 weeks out but nice to hear about different recipes I can try!
  9. Checking in with you all even though I have been here a while. I'm 54 from the UK and married. I'm also a Mum to a brood of boys, have a beautiful black Labrador and three cats. Only had two cats until 3 months ago when a stray came to visit and refused to leave. We thought 'it' was a kitten as it was so tiny and thin but she ended up being 11 years old and had been dumped by a family who had moved a while ago (so the vet told us). So the newly named Molly is now part of the family, 100% deaf and has been totally accepted by the other animals. I live in the country but only an hour from London and going the opposite way, an hour from the beach. I love being with family and friends, reading, studying , walking the dog, traveling and my sleeve . Keep smiling!
  10. Have I totally mis-read this or are you REALLY being serious?
  11. Love the boots Elode!
  12. If you feel she is wrong then question her. It's YOUR health. It's YOUR life. Make your OWN informed judgement and add a dash of common sense. Sorry to sound harsh.
  13. I am only 4 weeks out so not eating much right now apart from 2oz of Protein (meat/eggs/dairy etc etc) but I really enjoy my meals. They are tiny but I enjoy each bite. More so than when I shoveled food into my mouth hardly tasting it before thinking about shoveling the next fork full in. I am SO glad I am a sleever
  14. Congratulations... You look awesome !!
  15. Put a smaller bra on today and not only did it fit, I had to put it on the tightest hooks and I didn't have any bulging out back fat!! I have a feeling I will be sorting out a smaller one soon. VERY HAPPY !
  16. Congratulations and speedy recovery
  17. Just keep doing what you are. You're doing a great job! Well done
  18. Congratulations to both of you!
  19. @laguerr13 You are such an inspiration!
  20. You need to check with your GP first before crushing anything in case the medication is time released. Crushing it can change this. My Blood Pressure tablets come in capsual form and I just break open the capsual and sprinkle on food (on advice of my GP). This seems to work well.
  21. My NUT told me that if I drink far too much liquid in one go (I can drink 80oz of fluids most days) It might make me sick but wouldn't stretch the pouch. However if you constantly sip throughout the day it should be fine. Enjoy
  22. Ouch!! That looks sore. I didn't have any bruises on my tummy but my left arm was black and blue from them trying to get cannulas in. I have non existent veins I hope you feel better soon!
  23. How's everyone doing after surgery yestedray? I am soooooo happy for you all Speedy recovery!
