  11. When I started with pureed food, I used a coffee spoon which is much smaller than a t-spoon and only put the food onto half the spoon and still chewed it to death. I guess I was being over cautious but it seemed to work well. I'm now on day one of soft foods and still using the coffee spoon lol Hope it eases for you soon
  12. So very inspiring... You look beautiful Thank You for sharing !
  13. This is exactly how I felt last night. Prior to surgery and whenever I was 'dieting' I could cope all day but the evening and before bed was the worst time. I would always feel hungry. Last night for the first time since surgery (3 weeks out today) I felt 'hungry' after 10. My tummy rumbled and it took me right back to when I used to binge before bed or during the night. I was so tempted to have something but I didn't. I just hope its not my old demons back to haunt me
  14. I think its natural to be nervous and anxious, it's a huge decision to make but for me it was the best decision ever. Best wishes fr tomorrow and a speedy recovery !
  15. I had surgery on Thursday around 5pm and left hospital n the Sunday about 3pm. I felt that was perfect for me.
  16. Well done. I can hear the joy in your words!! Keep working hard and you will reach your goal in no time.
  17. Congratulations and well done on the loss. You are so determined and hearing your journey is very inspiring. I'm 3 weeks out tomorrow and still very tired, which I expected. I can't wait to get in the gym though, hopefully I will get the go ahead after my 6 week checkup! It's nice that you have set yourself a reward too. I think that's a really good idea
  18. Congratulations Steve and well done !! Onwards and upwards, you have this cracked
  19. Ouch -- Hugs to both of you xx
  20. Have you missed any monthly's? If so, I would be checked out with the GP to see if its the start of menopause. Hot sweats are horrible. I had them for over a year then decided to go onto HRT and the difference was amazing. Hope you feel better soon!!
