ok. I have not posted to this thread in a while but now I have to say something. I was glued to the tv just so that I could learn about Palin first hand-from her own mouth. What does she do? Praise McCain and Indult Obama the whole time. Is that what she stands for? That's it? She was hurling insults as if she was at the improv. Who wrote her speech? The same guys that do the opening monologue for SNL? Home run? No. Screen actors guild award. Possibly. If she gets dogged out its her fault. She took the gloves off. Game on! I also do not blame her for her daughter's preg. I do blame her for being an irresponsible leader She propped her daughter up on stage with a now obvious belly holding her boyfriend's hand. The message that she sent to the girls on the high school where I work as well as those around the country was that you can get preg and then flaunt it with your boyfriend as if they are an adult couple rather than two children that are having sex. How can I trust her to use administrative powers responsibly when she has already used such poor judgement? And for what? Smoke and mirrors? you can put a tuxedo on a pig but it is still a pig.

Absolute hypocrisy. If it were Obama then the republicans would be on a feeding frenzy. Now with Plslin they are doing fake damage control. I got one too! I actually have problems with reflux and mentioned it to the surgeon at my nitial consultation. He sent me for a GI and it was confirmed. So I will have it fixed at surgery. I also wonder if it will make recovery harder.

You are gonna be this young , skinny, HEALTHY thing!:thumbup: I shopped the idea around like you just to get an initial response.:thumbup: My best friend of 20 years(since 10th grade) wasn't as excited for me as I needed her to be. This is a person that I have yo yo dieted with since college. We have both been larger and smaller TOGETHER. The Last couple of years I have been about 3 sizes larger.:smile: When I mentioned the lapband she was not responsive at all. I interpreted that to mean non supportive of my decision.:w00t: The funny thing is that she is on diet pills now and shares her weight loss victories with me. Now I am very encouraging of her even though I now know that diet pills are a vicious cycle.:frown: I have not told her that I am definitely getting the surgery (8 days, holla!) I will just show up one day at a girls night out and not be the fat friend!:frown: Now I will say that based on her lack of response or subject changing that she is not supportive. I have not in good faith tried to talk to her about how this makes me feel. I am just not willing to set myself up for disappointment.:tt2: Is it possible that by sister from another mister, my tight, my home girl is one of THOSE friends- Afraid that my surgery will mean that we won't have fat in common anymore?
