Hi all, here is a little info about me:

I am married with one 13 year old son

I live in Brooklyn, NY.

I work in the medical field.

I am quiet. I am introverted to the umpteenth degree.

I value the people in my life very much but tend not to show that as my preference is solitude. Selfish, i know, but i like quiet times.

I'm the person in the family who everybody can depend on.. you know the type. I have only brothers which right there is a responsibility...lol. I've accepted my responsibility so it is cool. I've not been banded still in my six month supervised diet.

For 25 years I worked for a major airline. I have travelled all over the world.

Everyone depends on me, and at this time I am

taking care of my elderly Mother. I have not been banded yet

but need this for my health. I really want to be around when my son

gets married and I have my 1st grandchild.:biggrin:

I was banded in August of 2007 (I can't believe it's almost been a year!)

My best friend had bypass on June 10th and we are in the process of writing a book about our experiences.

I really like this website a lot and have met some great people.
