that was meant in the spirit to help someone... i mean really sometimes you need a expletive to enhance a point. I was not trying to make fun or call her out i needed her to hear what i was saying in the context that i was saying it and i didn't want to leave any room for misinterpretation. if you are in a room with arguing people and some one says ever so elegantly "please simmer down" how quiet do you think it will get? But if before that some one comes in and said in a loud stern voice "Quiet the hell (or other expletive) down. You will get a much better response. Furthermore if you were in a bank and it was being robbed and the gunman came in and said in a calm voice. "excuse me this is a robbery would you all please get on the floor and be still" i ask you what you believe the response would be? When i made that statement it was to make sure that the tone of the entire post was read with absolute clarity.

stay on the right path she will eventually come around and even if she never does our integrity will be intact. flat out poking fun never helps The problem is with her attitude getting one in return probably wont help the situation. no matter how good it feels.

I'm with you i remember the issues that gadget lady brought to my Obama threads. i think the biggest problem with that attitude is that there is no room for people to live together in their scenario. It is that type of thinking that lead to atrocities such as the crusades, the genocides in Rwanda, Darfur, Kosovo, and other places. yes i have different beliefs and yes i think they are best... but i can force anyone to live a certain way without breaking the commandments that i live my life by. so we all have to learn now to live with each other dispite our differences and have intelegnt and respectful conversations and dialog about said issues.

I think i see the problem you cant look at what you have said objectively so any further discussion would be utterly pointless. You are the type of person that has difficulty looking at the big picture of things and that is fine. but as for this situation as hard as it is for me i will just have to wash my hands.:thumbup:

Yes I am a Christian and I struggle day to day with my walk in Christ as all Christians do. You somehow just seem too pompous for me to try take the high road... I personally don't feel that I have much to apologize for. I was being as honest as I could have been. thus I said nothing. One thing you need remember is that not all Christians are in the same place and most are in a constant battle within themselves what would Christ do vs. what I want to do. The simple fact is that I have my own issues and demons to work through and I was making a suggestion I was not judging you as the tone of your responses show you judge me. so I ask you since you seem to be in a judging mood do you have a heaven or hell to place anyone in? see I don't need to prove my faith to you or anyone else. my Christianity isn't in Question and I'm not Questioning yours. I wouldn't dare be so arrogant. the simple fact of the matter is that i nor anyone else needs your approval, blessing, or opinion on their Christianity or moral character for that matter. so as I believe I asked you once before Who gave you the right to be so judgmental?, What makes you so arrogant as to think that you have a one-way ticket to Heaven that gives you the right to look down your nose at anyone...
