I went to dr today I'm 3 weeks post op, and feeling the same way he said its normal up to two months, huge tools went thru largest incision. It will get better. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

Went to see the dr for the pain in my left incision and he said after 3 weeks and up to 2 months its completely normal (thank god) it's been so excruciating and I thought something was wrong, but then he showed me the very large tool that went thru the now very small hole and now I understand why I hurt so bad. He offered me a shot that would numb me for at least 12 hours but the needle was terrifying so I told him no thank u lol and he just told me to double up on pain meds if it gets way to bad... I had my surgery there on 8/8/12 with no issues what's so ever, very pleasant experience.

Does it sound like it could be an ulcer tho? I'm concerned, will call my doc tomorrow

As soon as I swallow anything soup water, jello, anything I can feel it hit my stomach then my stomach hurts, it's almost like my stomach is contracting because the pain goes and comes and goes and comes, anyone else experience this?
