Anyone go swimming 10 days post-op in a pool was it ok went for my 1 week checkup today and forgot to ask. They said I was doing good down 10lbs officially today and the wounds look good 10 days will be Friday and will be camping for the weekend

I went to the beach, after 7 days and it was so relaxing. No problems either

I was told no soaking or swimming until wounds completely heal...

I was able to swim at 7 days post op. I had no stitches...I had Dermabond.

I was told 3wks

Thanks guys called my doctor and he gave me the go ahead to go in pool as of today so at least I can enjoy that with the family this weekend at camp

I was told 3 weeks...I have that weird skin glue. It's 90+ degrees in NYC clear skies...I wish I can go to the beach!!!

I was told 6 weeks no soaking or swimming. But if you have the ok- go for it! Water is a great resistance and work out.
