  1. I had that as well and I am 5 days post op, walking made mine eventually go away. I never had any pain from the incisions or anything only thing that Hurt was my back for about 3 days and now I'm completely pain free.
  2. I have never owned a scale, and not sure if I want one. Before it was because I hated seeing the number and now I think I'll be on it every five minutes to see if I've "lost" any weight. I'm five days post op and I'm curious to know if I've dropped anything, but I still am not sure if I should buy one. Any suggestions? Or comments, criticisms or concerns? Lol
  3. I barely was able to drink the liquid pain meds... Yuck
  4. It's very bitter and nothing I drank took the taste out of my mouth so I nibbled on a saltine cracker.
  5. The only med I take is Zoloft and I've been on it since 2008 for post partum depression and omg the liquid medicine is disgusting! Any advice on taking the liquid? Yuck. I'd rather not take it.
  6. I'm four days out. I just went shopping with my girlfriend, we were out for about 4 hours and I felt great! Then we went to dinner at Mexican restaurant, I had some Posole which is a Mexican soup and only ate the broth and had a few hominy and chewed it very well. Also I ate a few bites of my sons Refried beans and those also sat very well. I'm happy I'm not sick, but why the heck did those things settle when they say we cant eat them for 2 weeks or more?
  7. Thanks for responding I hope that's just the case. I need to get out of this funk! I am too outgoing for all this lol
  8. Am I depressed? Or am I just feeling the after effects of goin thru surgery ? I just wanna sleep? My pain is about a 3 so I don't need the meds and it tastes like crap so I'd rather not take it . I am not getting much liquid in, lord knows I try, but I can't force it down. I don't know I'm only 3 days out and I feel shitty is this normal? Should I be feeling happy and glowing?
  9. I had surgery yesterday, and today I'm ok. I am really groggy and all I want to do is sleep. My incisions do not hurt at all. The only thing hurting is my lower back, which they said is probably from gas. Idk, been feeling so groggy I just hope it ends soon and I can get back to my normal life, well new normal life
  10. I am also scheduled for surgery tomorrow at 8 am, I am so nervous but also so ready! Any tips on what to bring to the hospital?
