  1. I'm 5 weeks post op. I'm getting bored with what I've been eating. I am transitioning into reg food. I'm able to eat and tolerate solid grilled chicken breast! Yay! Anyhow looking for healthy pouch friendly snacks. Please share your delicious ideas!

I had tilapia about 3 weeks post op.
  3. Drinking gets easier. I'm only 4 weeks post op and can pretty drink normal sized sips. Obviously I can't chug but it's a lot easier to get my liquids in. You will be feeling better soon I promise. I never thought I would feel "normal" so soon but I do!
  4. SF cheesecake pudding mix. Add SF cool whip. Its so good!! Not exactly a cake but you could add some sprinkles and stick some candles in it!
  5. I feel the same way. I have been heavy since I was old enough to talk and whine...my dad shut me up basically with McDonald's behind my mom's back. My food addiction grew from there. My after school snack at 3 was a full sandwich. That was followed by a huge Southern style home cooked meal every night at 5 sharp. And that's how I've been living ever since. I'm 27 now and have a daughter. I do not want her to rely on food like mama did. She was my true inspiration to hve surgery. Its been 4 weeks since surgery and I'm 35 lbs lighter. I miss food. I miss soda. But I don't want to miss a single thing my lil girl does in life. And that's why I eat healthy and exercise every single day. Best of luck to you )
  6. When was your surgery Dee? I'm terrified of fried foods. I'm 4 weeks post op.
  7. Say whhhat!

    She doesn't mind
  12. My surgeon said no straws for 6 weeks. Its funny how different each surgeon instructs us post op. A lot of it is just their own beliefs. I say if you feel comfortable doing it and its helping you drink, use one.
  13. Maybe baked ones...I won't eat deep fried wings. I think that would definitely cause dumping
