  1. I was allowed to start soft foods after 2 weeks of liquids. 1 of my favorite things is scrambled eggs with salsa and cheese. So yummy! I also like the refried beans with cheese salsa and fat free sour cream. Clearly I really like salsa lol. Good luck and get creative with it. You don't want to bore yourself with the same old thing everyday. My doctor told me to spice things up.
  2. When does it get easier?
  3. Thanks DL. I took your advice and visualize where I wanna be in a year. It honestly made my anxiety subside. You are right I am very scared. This is a whole new life I was almost just thrown into. I was told what to expect but actually feeling it is much different. I'm going to wait until I talk to my doctor again till i exercise. I also feel like I'm not eating enough. I measure my food out but after I eat I still don't feel full. Maybe I should up it to 3 ounces instead of 2 for now. Anyhow thanks for the inspiration. And thank you for taking your time to respond.
  4. Just eat 1/4 cup at a time. That's what I do.
  5. I eat tomato soup a lot! No problems here!
  6. I gained 6 lbs on my final weigh in and my insurance company ok'ed my surgery. They know why we need the surgery. I kinda went crazy and ate everything I wanted bc I knew I wouldn't be able to eat my faves again. Now I'm 2 weeks out and 21 lbs lighter. So happy. Good luck to you on your journey.
  7. I have 11 piercings and 2 tattoos. Plan on sleeving my left arm and a huge back piece when I'm happy with my weight. The flowers are on my foot and Celtic knot is on my wrist.
  8. I am sooo careful and particular about what I eat. I eat minimal sugar and fat. Haven't dumped yet at all. Its only in the morning for the most part. Gets better through the day.
  9. Thank you for responding. I will definitely try that. I think it has to do with changes in hormones from surgery. Hoping that it gets better over time.
  10. I have anxiety attacks before surgery. I'm about 2 and a half weeks out and my anxiety has gotten much worse. Has anyone else ever experienced this? It is keeping me from exercising because I get anxiety and light headed when I stand up. I went to my doctor yesterday. She did blood work and came back normal. She took me off my blood pressure medicine completely. Yay! As the day goes on my anxiety gets better. I am getting snippy with people and pretty irritable. I am eating soft foods now and I haven't had a problem yet. Please comment if you have ever experienced that

  18. Please tell me eating gets easier and more enjoyable with time!! Today was my first day to eat soft foods. I thought I would want to eat but I didn't. I forced myself. I am scared to eat too much. I'm not sure when to stop. Didn't feel any fullness. Now about an Hour later it feels like food is in my throat. I am keeping it down but food has definitely lost its appeal.
