Soups

What Soups work? What soups made you sick? How far post opp?

- I have packets for broccoli and cheddar, but not sure if it will make me sick.

- Does creamy tomato / tomato basil have too much acid?

I've been eating cream of chicken and don't have any issues. I water it down with unjury chicken soup protein. And I only eat about 2 oz. at at time. No problems at all.

I eat tomato soup a lot! No problems here!

I really want to eat tomato soup but it has so much sugar in it! It's always been my favorite. Funny how they make reduced salt but no reduced sugar/ carb soup :-(

I love the Cambell's low fat cream of chicken, cream of celery, or cream of asparagus, creamy tomato, I have had no problems what so ever with soups, all the ones I mention were recommended by my doctor. I would add low fat milk to them to up my protein intake a bit, it makes the soups nice and creamy.

V8 soups are good too. I had tomato basil last night. 1/4 cup is only 3.8 g sugar. A bit on the high side but should not be a problem.

Just eat 1/4 cup at a time. That's what I do.

I would have a hard time controlling myself! liquids are too easy for me, I could probably have a whole cup. Like I said, it's my favorite!
