  1. Very strict. But he has a great reputation and track record!
  2. Wow congrats on that amazing weight loss over the past few months! You must feel great! Your metabolism may be re adjusting. If you are exercising, you way want to switch forms of exercise for awhile (ie instead of walking do Zumba or swim) but I'm sure you will start losing again soon. Just make sure your not cheating with carbs! Good luck you will do fine!
  3. I did mine with water and banana and it was a great change! Also the pb boosted my protein and calories. I want to try a few days with extra protein and cals to try and boost my metabolism! Thanks for the recipe!
  4. Just after I wrote this I started dumping and te only thing I had was a cup of decaf black tea with trivia. I didn't think you could dump from that stuff!
  5. my surgeon is hardcore...liquids for 3 weeks then puree for 2-3 weeks. i'm sure it will be great!
  6. Just wondering how many carbs per serving post oppers are: Allowed? Able to tolerate without dumping? I dumped off diluted apple juice
  7. Bought my ingredients today. I'm going to try to make and freeze a bunch so I can pop them in the toaster oven. Could probably even purée one of those -I'm gonna try!
  8. Well said as always! I am striving for this. I have chosen to walk on some nature trails in my town. We have turned it to a family thing and tonight my daughter brought a friend. I want to be daily motion to be easy and a part of our family fabric. I'm looking forward to incorporating more healthy choices as food is reintroduced again do I can be a better role model for my kids. Thanks for the motivation!
  9. I hear ya. My surgeon is hardcore. Can't even do puree until 3 weeks post op. I'm going nuts! It makes me want to cheat knowing that others are eating at this point and I can't. Would kill for something that isn't Splenda flavored! And my body must know what it needs bc all I'm craving is protein!
  10. Mmm will do this in a puree as soon as I'm allowed!
  11. Yes just blend it up. It tastes like chocolate pie filling. Yum!
  12. Thanks! I only lost 4 pounds this week so I'm not too pleased with the results. But that's still 30 pounds in three weeks. The pain was not bad. On day 8 I walked the mall for over an hour. I went walking 2 miles three times this week with no real pain. I've gone back to all normal housework, cooking, gardening, etc. I could be working but am going to take advantage of this while I can. I go back next week. As soon as I hit the one month mark will start couch to 5k!
  13. I've had a difficult getting through the turnstyles at our ballpark. Definitely embarrassing. Although best believe it won't happen again!
  14. Yay so happy for you! Let the losing begin! Prayers the next few days go smoothly
  15. Can't purée yet but I think garlic shrimp or chicken teriyaki would mush well.
  16. They are bogo right now!
  17. I've read several times that your body often confuses thirst for hunger so maybe try drinking? I have also tea other posters say that they have to go up to 80 protein daily to feel good...
  18. Wow missed this thread the first time around. Welcome and congrats on your amazing success. I stopped running about 10 years ago and can't wait to get cleared and start again
  19. Are you waiting 30 minutes to eat and drink?
  20. Good article. I like the positive spin of "I don't"! Thanks for sharing.
  21. You can't wear a tampon or pad during surgery but they can put extra padding under you. It's only a few hours. After surgery they will help you get cleaned up and you can wear a tampon again but no undies. After they take the catheter out you can wear undies again.
  22. Good luck! You will do great! You know the drill, rest, walk, pain meds and keep us posted!
