  2. Oh no, I am so sorry you are suffering like this. I have tolerated Premier Protein from day 2 post op. Have you tried that? It is ready to drink and has 30g of protein per 11 oz. serving.
  3. Hold your nose when you drink it. I had liquid pain meds that tasted like donkey azz, but it was better than hurting. Just keep thinking "this, too shall pass."
  4. I get a stuffy nose at night and I wake myself up smelling my stinky breath. Ick
  5. I drink Premier Protein RTD and that's it for shakes. I also drink Isopure Zero Carb, which is like a fruity drink with 40g of protein.
  6. It's because your body is in ketosis. It happens on a very low carb diet. You can google it for all the science. Listerine Breath Strips for the win!

  9. Greek yogurt or cottage cheese w/fruit, or sometimes just leftover meat from the night before. I tried steel cut oats one morning, but Sleevie Ray is not ready for that yet.
  10. I called after around 5 days and they told me over the phone I was approved. Couldn't hurt, right?
  11. If the other beverages are things like Gatorade, diluted juice, Crystal Light, and other Clear Liquids, then yes, they count as Water. You do not need to drink those and the water. Good luck!
  12. Meatballs w/sauce, meatloaf w/gravy, refried Beans w/cheese and salsa, scrambled eggs, egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, chili, split pea Soup, flaky fish filets, zucchini baked or sauteed. I'll try to think of more after I have my coffee.
  13. I made cream soup thinner by adding broth to it along with powdered milk to up the protein.
  14. Warm savory broth always made me satisfied. I simmered it and added herbs to make it taste better.
  15. 12/17 here and I have lost only 26 lbs. I'm old and a slow loser, but It doesn't bother me. I haven't tried any carbs other than a few triscuits for a snack and I had a few noodles once.

Yesterday I ate: B - 1 whole egg + 3 T. egg whites made into an omelet w/mushrooms, cheese, spinach (couldn't eat the whole thing) L - 1 oz. tuna mixed with 2 T. cottage cheese and a slice of avocado D - 1.8 oz. beef tenderloin, 4 mushrooms, 1/4 C. green Beans S - 4 brown rice triscuits w/4 slices pepperoni and 2 T. shredded cheese + 10 oz. Isopure zero carb drink. 62 g. Protein, 32 carbs, 619 calories
  19. I lost 8 lbs. and promptly gained 8 lbs. in the hospital. It took me a week or so to lose the 8 lbs. again.
  20. Darn, I wish it was the chocolate flavor. I don't like anything Cookies and cream flavor, even ice cream. Guess I will pass. Thanks for posting, though.
  21. Ouch! I had some bruising, but only very minor compared to yours. I guess I had a bruised area about 1/5 the size of yours. It went away in 4-5 days.
  22. My post op was completely uneventful. I didn't even have gas pain.
