  1. I have a prescription for omeprazole that comes in a capsule. I just take it whole.
  2. I simmered chicken broth out of the carton with dried rosemary and thyme and added a smidge of Better than Bouillon. It is delish!
  3. My husband wanted my to do one. I printed one out online, filled it out, and brought it with me to the hospital for a nurse to witness and forgot all about it as soon as I got into my gown. Oh well.
  4. Milk of Magnesia. It is not a milk, it's a medicine.
  5. I have one, but I was only required to see her once and that was it. I haven't been in touch with her since then.
  6. And u took only those for pre-op? No, post-op. My doc said not to take any Vitamins until after the first week post-op.
  7. I have the Multi-Complete with iron and the Calcium Plus 500.
  8. I'm using Celebrate Vitamins, but once I finish what I have I'm just going to get some regular vitamins. These are too expensive and you have to take them more than once a day. Ick.
  9. I'm one month out tomorrow and the weight is not flying off. We all lose differently. Don't worry, it will come.
  10. There are plenty of guys on this forum. There is a specific forum for guys only called "The Guy's Room".
  11. I take it twice a day for permanent nerve damage in my legs. I don't seem to be having any issues and have lost 18 lbs. since being sleeved on 12/17.
  12. Awesome! Everyone looks so happy.
  13. I've been getting hungry sooner than I thought I would. I can eat a whole egg for Breakfast and feel hungry an hour later. I ate a slice of cheese and some turkey lunch meat in between breakfast and lunch. After lunch I haven't been hungry again. I guess I just need to get closer to 500 calories than the 3-4 hundred I have been eating.
  14. I will be a month on Tuesday so that is when I get to start mushy foods.
  15. Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I have been eating some canned asparagus tips every once in a while. They are so mushy there is no problem getting them down and even though I prefer fresh they have helped my craving for veggies.
  16. I am 3 weeks out and having the same issue. Showering and dressing and getting downstairs wipes me out not to mention exercising. For a few days I had a burst of energy in the afternoon and walked for 30 min., got some housework done, stuff like that. These last few days is a whole 'nother story. Sigh...
  17. I brought the clothes I wore, extra underwear, kindle, phone, chapstick. That's it.
  18. Yeah, I am not on solids yet so I expect the squirts to happen.
  19. Bless your heart! I had two weeks and it really wasn't that bad. The crunch bars might help a lot. I found warm herby chicken broth really helped with hunger more than cold Protein drinks. I wasn't allowed any Soup, just broth.
  20. I'm 3 weeks out and have it every other day or so. Beats constipation!
  21. Can you go to the admissions desk at the hospital tomorrow and straighten it out? The business office might not be open, but there is always someone in admissions.
  22. Queen, I read your whole blog yesterday and really enjoyed it. I am 59 and hope I will do as well as you have.
  23. I've diluted mine with Water and added a single serve Crystal Light packet to some of them to make them taste better. I like the apple-melon just the way it is, though.
