  1. I am considering buying a Flex with the Amazon gift card I got for Xmas.
  2. Monistat is available OTC.
  3. Every doctor is different. On my plan I was allowed vanilla Greek yogurt, or plain, but nothing with fruit in it. Oatmeal was not allowed until post surgery in the pureed stage. Did you not get any paperwork from your doc or the NUT outlining the pre op diet?
  4. Mine is save money for plastic surgery.
  5. I was on full liquids as soon as I got home and pudding was allowed. You should check your instructions first, though.
  6. I'm going into week three and have lost only 11 lbs. so far. I will just keep on doing what I'm doing and hope for the best!
  7. Map it out on Google maps. You can do two destinations.
  8. While walking the halls after surgery I saw my surgeon sitting at a computer and asked him what size he used. He replied "the perfect size". I then started guessing and it turned out to be 38.
  9. I had a catheter, but no drains.
  10. I'm wondering how to get enough calories in. I started pureed foods today and so far have had 3/4 of a scrambled egg and 1/2 C. of Protein pudding. Add in my Isopure and that is only 310 calories, 60g. of protein. I plan on some thinned out refried Beans with a little cheese for dinner, but I am pretty sure I won't get in very much before I am stuffed.
  11. When I had my surgery I had met all my deductible and out of pocket for the year. I had to pay a $250 co-pay when I pre registered. So far, I have not received any related bills or EOBs in the mail.
  12. GNC has it and they are 20oz. bottles. I ordered a whole case of it online.
  13. I bought those too. I tried the apple one today and I am feeling really nauseous now. The after taste to me is getting me. Today I a had peach mango flavor mixed with some Water and a Crystal Light Peach Iced Tea single serve packet. Makes it taste much better.
  14. Isopure Zero Carb is a ready to drink bottled liquid that looks like kool ade and comes in fruity flavors. It has 40 g. of Protein per bottle. I drink it every day.
  15. How much have you lost?
  16. I'm 59 and was sleeved 2 weeks ago.
  17. Not me. It was in the 30s last night and I slept with the window open a bit, a sleeveless nightgown, and one blanket.
  18. It hasn't bothered me. I discovered that eating pea Soup for dinner makes for a poop explosion the next morning. No straining required!
  19. Oh hey, if you like pudding, check out my high protein pudding recipes. We've had pistachio, butterscotch, lemon, Peanut Butter, and chocolate ones every night since we first made those. So. Yummy! I just made some chocolate pudding with a sample packet of Syntrax Chocolate Truffle Protein powder. It is still chilling.
  20. I think the whole reason is the doggie doo breath caused by the high Protein and negligible carbs. It makes everything taste icky. Except for Dulce de Leche pudding, of course.
  21. It took a few days, but yes, it came back off. It is all the IV fluids they give you.
