  1. Either Protein drink or yogurt for Breakfast. Baby turkey meatloaf for lunch. (like 2 oz) Protein Drink between lunch and supper Turkey meatballs for supper. (2) With a little marinara sauce and two broccoli crowns.
  2. What is her doctor saying? I'm sorry she is having so much trouble. I can't offer help/advice because I haven't had any issues. I do know of a few people who had to switch to RNY to stop severe heartburn. Hope it turns around for her soon!
  3. I also take Lexapro. My Vitamins do not contain it. I checked
  4. Get some Water flavoring drops like Milo! Also sugar free popsicles will count as liquid.
  5. You are a "loser"! You've lost 48 lbs!!! Getting down on yourself doesn't help with weight loss. Celebrate each and every day!!
  6. Congratulations!! I had no gas so can't help you with that.
  7. I don't do "fat free" but I do my best to stay away from sugar. I use Hellman's Light Mayo most of the time. I use full fat cheese most of the time as well. Sargento has an ultra thin slice that is perfect.
  8. You've lost 50 lbs. I'd say you can lose weight. Maybe up your exercise and try logging your food into something like MyFitnessPal. That's what helps me.
  9. Everyone is different. I didn't need any help after I got home from the hospital.
  10. The first few days will be the hardest as you detox off of carbs and old habits of eating all the time. The closer I got to surgery, the easier it became for me. I ate LOTS of popsicles, too. It's kinda funny because since surgery, I've not had one popsicle. I just don't want any! Good luck! Hang in there and keep your eye on the prize.
  11. awesome!!!
  12. Congrats!!! That is exactly how I felt as they wheeled me to OR!!
  13. Congrats on the weight loss! Miralax is helpful.
  14. Everyone is different but I felt great after 4 days. You just can't lift over 10 lbs for several weeks.
  15. I think you'll find this link very useful! I did!! http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/456-protein-vitamins-and-supplements/
  16. What's on your surgeon's approved list for your stage? I was allowed refried Beans fairly early. We eat out Mexican every week and I order a side of beans and cheese. Yummy!!
  17. I'm so sorry y'all had complications!! I can't imagine the scare and disappointment. There is a support section for people who have had or are experiencing complications that you might find helpful. Hugs!! http://www.bariatricpal.com/forum/429-gastric-sleeve-surgery-complications-support-group/
  18. Syntrax nectar Protein powders mixes with Water. I always add extra crystal light to increase the flavor a little. I love Lemon Tea and Fuzzy Navel.

I remember seeing Dr. Weil on Dr Oz talking about Gratitude Journals. I make my list right before I go to bed so my thoughts are "positive", enabling a better sleep.
