  1. just the stress from surgery and anesthesia can throw your whole system off. I'd give it a few more weeks before panicking!
  2. Brandy! I'm going on May 19th as well! I'm tall, red hair- have a late PM appt. If you see me, say hi!
  3. I'm staying on plan because my % body fat has dropped below 25%! and I want it even lower!
  4. I'm 26 lbs away from normal height for my weight. so cloooose!
  5. Its helped me to read this thread- thank yall! I've been at the same weight for about 2 months- much of is because I've not been following the "rules" and have been snacking on more things - the good news is that I didn't gain weight which I would have pre band. I'm trying to change up my cardio- my trainer suggested adding in stair master (I have a foot issue and cant run) and am being much more vigilant about logging my calories. Hopefully this last 25-35 lbs will start going away
  6. Hey Brandy- I'm seeing him in May. I called this week and they could have seen me in April but I'm hoping to do surgery in the fall. I'm a physician and every surgeon (plastics or not) I ask at work (I work at a cancer hospital) recommends him.
  7. I have the problem that as I've gotten smaller (size 14) my boobs are still huge- saggy, but huge and so every swimsuit I've tried, they've popped out; finally found one on eddiebauer.com - a slimsuit tankini in a D cup that holds them in. I bought some board shorts to wear over the bottom since the skin is hanging a bit. this and bra stuff are the most frustrating parts of losing weight. I'd rather have this problem than be too fat to want to wear a bathing suit but its still a challenge good luck finding a suit, Julie!
  8. congrats! I was thrilled when I just became "overweight" :lol good luck on finding your goal- mine is in the middle of my healthy weight range for my height but the next mini goal is healthy weight you can do it! :welldoneclap:
  9. congrats! wooo! goooooooal!
  10. thank you so much! congrats on your fantastic loss and hot bod! ditto.
  11. Julie- congrats on finishing your surgeries! I've seen inner thigh lifts where the scar has been only along the panty line at the juncture of the thigh/groin - did you have too much skin near your knees for that to work for you or does your dad feel the longer incision gets you a better long term outcome? This is the surgery I need the most, well right up there with the lower body lift/tummy tuck and it frightens me the most

  19. I don't think I ever met Patricia- only brenda or leslie have done my fills (primarily leslie- brenda filled me once when leslie had some problems hitting my port)
  20. I love my bugg almost as much as I love my band. Another tool that really helps!
  21. I think it would be interesting to do a poll - for those who have reached goal- how much did you exercise? None 1-2 days/week 3-5 days /week 6-7 days/week I would bet the majority of people are in the 3-5 days/ 6-7 days. It makes a HUGE difference to get your metabolism going. I can eat around 1400-1600 calories a day when I exercise and still lose 1-2 lbs/week. I started running but have a stress fracture in my left foot so am stuck with the eliptical for a few months. I almost passed out the first time I was on the eliptical- now I can go an hour at resistance 9-10! get on that bike! you will thank yourself later and the results you will see in the mirror, your measurements and clothes make a difference. Personally I go to the gym 5-6 days a week- do the eliptical for 45 minutes; sometimes will do stair stepper/treadmill; 3 days a week work with a trainer for an hour to build muscle and the days I don't go to the gym its usually a 35-40 minute walk with the dogs. From being someone who thought that getting up to get food was exertion to doing this kind of routine- its a huge change and it didn't happen overnight. Schedule the exercise like you would anything else. I get up and go before work because otherwise there was a good chance when I started I'd blow it off. Now I know I'll go after work if I miss the morning but I still am now in the habit of exercising first thing in the morning- helps my whole day start off on the right foot. good luck to you! yea for those runners out there! I hope I'll catch up to yall soon!
  22. me too! we can do it! you are so close! go go go! good luck! its not too far away for you!!!
