I learned to not bring it up again with the person (it was my aunt) who was against the surgery. I just continued with all my appointments and had my surgery, I am now down over 150 lbs and happy. I had this surgery for me and so I could have a happy healthy life with my spouse and kids. Remember this is for you, not them!

Isopure is probably your best best, I agree with SheWins1 the grape is probably the best flavor (and I really thought I would like the orange best). For me it was lightening fast, started working in less than 30 minutes!

I too had blood in my urine during the pre-op physical, I told them I had my period and they said ok. I would call your surgeon and find out about a new date. Trust me after surgery, food is the last thing you are thinking of. The first few days after surgery are the worst, by date 3 you should be feeling fine. Good Luck!
