I have been overweight my entire life and obese for the last 10 years or so. I have gained and lost weight my whole life. I hope the surgery will once and for all help me gain control. I did a half marathon at 265 pounds and I finished but was very sore afterwards for about a week. My goal is to do many more half marathons, marathons, triathlons and more! I have been to the seminar at the weight loss clinic I have chosen, South Mississippi Surgical Weight Loss, I found out my insurance does cover the cost just have to go through 3 months of diet/exercise plan and I have my first appt. with the surgeon on November 29, 2012. I am so lucky because my husband is also taking this journey and will be by my side.
