  1. I can definitely relate to losing and gaining the same damn 100 pounds, except each time I would gain back an extra 20! I had enough when I got 5th disease from my kids and was so sick, I knew the weight was making it even worse!
  2. Woo Hoo! So happy for you! Congrats!
  3. You should be fine, I was back to work in a week and survived.
  4. Congrats! You look great!
  5. Are you doing the surgery for you or her? It's for you, it's your life, it's your health! If she is not going to support you, just make the appointments and don't tell her. You are an adult, you can do this! Good Luck!
  6. Wow you look so much younger! Congrats!
  7. I'm sorry you're feeling this way... I was sleeved in October and enjoyed Christmas dinner (not stuffed to the gills like previous years) but I enjoyed it. Get togethers are exactly that getting together and enjoying each others company. Yes you will not be able to eat like you use to, but isn't that the whole reason for the surgery in the first place. Try to remember why you decided to go thru this whole process in the first place... Good Luck!
  8. I agree -- the growling isn't hunger, you probably need a PPI.
  9. Lightheaded? maybe you need to drink water...
  10. I think everybody goes thru those WTF moments... at eight months out I can honestly say this is the best decision I ever made for myself and my health! Good Luck!
  11. It was almost a week for me...
  12. Wait until Monday and ask your surgeon...
  13. I start burping when I'm eating and hit my max... as soon as I start burping I know I've got to stop eating.
  14. Most companies offer open enrollment of Insurance one month of each year. If they have other insurance options to pick from, take a look if its covered. Another option is get a separate health insurance policy just for you, that covers the surgery. (keep your family on BCBS).
  15. Hey, are you going to spend your life on diet pills? no! We have all lost weight, I have lost over 100 lbs at least 4 times, but I couldn't keep it off. The sleeve will help you do that. Good Luck!
  16. I was back to work in a week....
  17. Honestly, I'm not a big snacker... sometimes between lunch and dinner I have some almonds, or after dinner I will have a piece of a Protein bar the I cut up into 3 pieces, but most of the time I just have my 3 meals. I'm 8 months out.
