  1. Congrats you look great!
  2. Congrats & Good Luck!
  3. By the time I had my sleeve, I was so over food! I still go out to eat, obviously I'm not eating the same foods or the same amounts, but my family and I still go out. I think you have to be ready (mentally ready) for this surgery. So many people only think about being skinny, it's more than than. You will have to come to terms with why you need food and what is more important to you. Are willing to give up a happy, healthy life for food. I decided I would rather be healthy and spend quality time with my children & spouse that sit on the couch and eat crap. Good Luck!
  4. I think Unjury chocolate splendor is one of the best tasting protein shakes out there.
  5. Congrats & Good Luck!
  6. Isn't there a time limit as to how long they can make you wait for an answer?
  7. What does your doctor recommend? Mine says wait six months, which I did, but when I had a glass of wine for Mother's Day after 2 sips I was woozy and That was it for me! I did have wine about a month ago and was ok but I drank it very very slowly. Be careful and check with your doctor -- 5 weeks seems way too soon!
  8. Amanda, The nurse meant it as Prisoner of War.. She was saying that since they are prisoners, they can only eat what they get, if anything...(she was telling Bella, that if she doesn't eat she won't be heavy).
  9. I'm 10 months out and don't get to 1000 calories...
  10. Thanks! I lost 50lbs on the pre-op diet. Started pre-op diet 7/5 at 338 and was 288 on surgery day. I have lost the rest post-op.
  11. Starting weight 338 I was Sleeved 10/10/12 --I am now 181, my goal is 159lbs
  12. I was sleeved on a Wednesday, and returned to work the following Wednesday. I sit at a desk all day, and other than being tired at the end of the first day - I had no problems. Good Luck!
  13. I think it's the liquid's, or lack of. I have noticed if I slack off on my Water, my weight loss slows to a stop. Try your best to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and you should she a change for the better. Good Luck!
  14. Ask your doctor -- I was allowed coffee a week after surgery, but had to wait over 4 months for salad.
