  3. Dr. Kim was my doctor. Great staff and hospital but it is very expensive. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. Please stay in touch it is always nice to have someone near by that understands what you are going through and to offer support
  4. Welcome Nic! I also live in Orlando I had my sleeve done at Celebration hospital last August. When is your surgery date in Mexico?

  18. So nervous getting sleeved tomorrow at 12. Any prayers would be greatly appreciated! Good luck to all those being sleeved today and the rest of August you are in my prayers Will update as soon as I can tomorrow.
  19. Friday here too and getting so nervous but also very excited. How is everyone doing with their pre op diets?
  20. With self pay I believe it covers one year of post up check ups. As for the gallbladder I had mine out in 2007 so I;m not sure if Dr. Kim does it or not.
  21. I think it also depends on weight and family history. I did not have sleep apnea but had never had a sleep study done and in my family history one of my parents had had a heart attack so I think that is why I had to go through those two clearances. A great tip that Mamachef gave me was if you do have to have a pulmonary clearance you can use someone other than they one in the hospital. They are usually scheduling a month out from when you call to request an appointment.

  23. You are not being dramatic. I think we can all understand how you feel. Heck I got hungry just reading this post
  24. Hello everyone, I am not a teacher yet, but I am finishing my last year of school which consist of two student internships. By the time I step into my internship classroom I will only be a week and three days out form surgery, so I'm not sure how I will feel and I know I still will not be able to lift anything too heavy. I wanted to ask all of you should I explain to the teacher I am working with my situation or only if I absolutely need to? My worst fear is that he or she will think I am being difficult.
