  1. I can't wait to go hit up Ross tomorrow! =) Make that monday since superbowl is tomorrow....hehe I so agree on the wanting to look good everyday now! I have only lost 14 lbs since surgery but 24 total since October and can see it in my face ALOT! It makes me want to dress nice and go for walks with the fam where as before I would do the whole t shirt thing and never wanted to go out. I felt like an embarrassment to my family. It's like, now that I know the weight is going FOR GOOD,I have so much confidence, there can only be more in store. =))
  2. Cool! I will wait then and go hit up Ross and TjMaxx! I am happy to hear they can be worn even while losing weight quickly! Thank you!
  3. You are beyond awesome!!! Good luck on Monday!! You will be suprised at how fast the weight comes off! I was in 24's(loose) and now I am needing the 22's,and will be needing the 20's soon I'm sure. I was just sleeved on Jan 25th! I can pay you for the shipping, thank you soo much! Not in a huge hurry. If you can't get them out b4 your surgery, don't worry!
  4. I am in great need of size 20-22 jeans plz! Not picky at all as far as brands and stuff. As long as they're wearablt,I'll take them. Can pay shipping. If anyone needs size 24 jeans,I have alot, just let me know! =)
  5. I am 5'3" and started out at 268,on day of surgery was 254,now(10 days later )I am 240. I know the weight is gonna come off fast as it already has started. I'm only 25 but I really don't wanna have too much saggy skin. My odds are bad since I carried 4 kids,2 being a set of twins that were 7 pounds each at birth! They did a number on my tummy! I just ordered a Proform treadmill off hsn for 5 payments of $139. I plan to work my butt of on that as soon as I heal enough. Gonna do 30 minutes to an hour a day on the treadmill. Crunches, push ups when I can bc I haven't been able to for years lol, and lifting arm weights up and down. Also,I am going to look into getting compression garments and shapewear. I have Nivea firming lotion with Q10. It is awesome. I don't really know yet if it will reduce the amount of saggy skin since I haven't lost all THAT much weight but I know it is just so awesome! It makes my skin feel firmer and so so much healthier. I will never stop using it. I also know that getting as much liquids in,keeping up with your vitamins and proteins also wouldn't hurt in fighting against the saggy skin. Good luck on Monday!!!!! You'll do great!!
  6. I can't wait to try these!!! Ordering them now!!! =) Question: Is it even adventageous to buy any at my size? The weight is coming off quick and my belly is already looking ugly. It was before anyway due to my weight+3 pregnancies+carrying twins to full term :/
  7. I will be 2 weeks out on Wednesday and I can barely take a couple very small bites of Greek yogurt without feeling SOO VERY FULL! I measured out an ounce and I could only eat half. :/ I can't even get my required liquids and protein in. I am getting in almost 30 ounces of liquids and 1 protein shake. The upside is I have lost 13 lbs in 11 days. =)
  8. I totally love my sleeve, even though I've only had it for a week!!! I have lost 10 lbs in the 8 days since being sleeved!!!! Couldn't be happier!
  9. You did great girl!! I'm glad you're ok from your scare, sounds scary!! I had my surgery on the same day as you and I couldn't be happier with my new sleeve!!! I have lost 10 lbs in 8 days!
  10. I had to do clear liquids for the first week post op. My 1 week post op was today and they told me I could move on to soft foods like scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, etc!! NO WAY! I am moving myself up to full liquids for another week, then pureeds for a week or so,I don't want to get a leak! If you are 2 weeks out I would say,in my opinion, you can proabably be on full liquids or even pureeds.
  11. CONGRATS!!!!! What a journey you've had,I am so glad you got your date,it's an amazing feeling!
  12. Good luck!!! You will do great! I am a week post op today and feel great!!!!
  13. Yum yum!!! I will def be trying these! Thank you!! I am one week post op and have graduated to full liquids and am sooo excited to try some real food!!! Thanks again!
  14. Hi all! So,I went to my 1 week post op appt today and I have lost 8 lbs in 7 days! Yippee!! I have been on the clear liquid diet for a whole week and now have graduated to the full liquid diet and can have protein shakes as well as my vitamins.. I am wondering if anyone has any recipes or suggestions for the full liquid phase? I'm kinda clueless...I know I am gonna try some tuna, boiled egg and a lil lite mayo in the blender tomorrow but that's really all I can think of. I tried a protein shake for the first time today and i got about 5 ozs down over the course of an hour and a half but I couldn't finish the last 3 ounces,it was toooo sweet for my new sleeve. I am so happy I made this decision. I finally gave myself something and it feels great to know I will lose my weight and KEEP it off!!! =))
  15. Thank you all for you advice!! I I am gonna try to get some Isopure today if it is at the GNC store. This is hard. I had like no calories yesterday... =(
  16. The only thing I've had since my surgery is water, caffiene free tea, chicken broth,sf jello & sf popsicles. Are there any other things I can have on the CLEAR liquid stage? Just have to add btw,I LOVE my sleeve!!! I felt fantastic up until tonight when the weakness started to kick in!!! =( I am barely managing 150 calories a day bc I am constantly feeling restricted after an ounce or two. How in the world are we supposed to get 64 ozs of water in a day???? I am struggling to get 20 ozs in....Does the broth and tea and stuff count towards the 64 ozs of water intake? I BETTER see some weight loss at my 1 week post op! I gave my scale to my mom so I wouldn't weigh obsessively..LOL ((HUGS)) to all,and thank you for your responses in advance!
  17. Thanks! =) I am overall happy with the surgery but don't want to get dehydrated
  18. I am 2 days post op,on liquids for a week. I am having a hard time getting all my fluid in. I think it just varies by surgery and by the persons body, everyone reacts differently. I can't get 3 sips in without feeling restriction for the next 30 minutes or so.
  19. Ok so if I was to get a top of the line treadmill and did my workouts conistenly,it will help me get to become more toned, rather than flabby???
  20. Hey YOU!!!! =) Thank you for your support!!! I feel so great, just a bit of pain here and there, trying to get the gas off. Been tolerating green tea and broth, gas x chewables, and Water just fine!! CANNOT wait to see how I rock my sleeve in the future! All the doubts are gone!!! Woot woot!! I love walking the halls by the way,it gets that gas out good. Diva you're such an inpiration to me!!!! What exercise machine do you use to stay toned??
