After Almost 2 Years...finally Approved For Surgery!

Well, I got the call this morning that I was finally approved for surgery after almost two years of trying. I had to wait until 1/2012 to submit so that I had a recorded weight for the two previous years because I did not have anything in 2009 and was denied twice in 2011. I'm soooo happy right now.

I took a risk and set up all necessary appointments and got a surgery date of Feb 15th back in January. So it works out perfectly that all of my pre op tests are scheduled for tomorrow which is also the first day of my two weeks of liquid diet. Now things will be on fast forward and I will be having my surgery in two weeks time. Yay!

I am very thankful that I now have a chance to get healthy and be able to do the things with my daughter that I physically cannot do right now. And I look forward to leaning on all of you for support and a helping hand when needed. :smile1:
