  1. I started grad school on a Monday and had surgery on Wednesday (plus a fully time job and kids) And I was able to keep up with the schoolwork ok. I would definitely try and do your work when you are feeling ok; but you definitely feel tired all of a sudden Good luck!
  2. I was just thinking about you today and wondering how you were doing! I am sorry you are not feeling well. I hope you start feeling better soon! I am still struggling with liquids and protein 3 weeks out...just hoping and praying it gets better, because my spirits are starting to take a beating
  3. Have you tried a pill cutter? I cut mine pills into 8-10 mini-pills in order to get them down...they have them at CVS and Target! Let me know how it goes...hope you start feeling better. btw...did you try warm decaf tea yet? Talk soon!

  5. Try the Gas X strips...you don't have to chew anything up...they seem to work for others! Good luck neighbor (I am in Upper Marlboro MD)
  6. HI!!! Hope you got my text the other night! I am so excited for you! Try your hardest to sip....try room temperature....I tried ice cold and no luck. I finally found that warm decaf tea works for me right now....after like 2 weeks of trying everything under the sun. Once I have the warm decaf tea in the morning, it seems like everything else goes down a little better! Be careful coming back to the East; take your time....
  7. Hi All- I was sleeved on February 15, and I am STRUGGLING getting liquids down. I am curious, did anyone else have issues with this? How much were you getting down 3-4 days after surgery? I am afraid I am starting to get dehydrated (just from the color of my urine (TMI, I know). I am allergic to the pain medicine so I can't take any of that, and the antibiotics gave me thrush. So the horrible taste in my mouth is just too much...I don't want to put anything in my mouth. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank-you.
  8. Good luck! I'm getting sleeved tomorrow at 11am! Happy Valentines Day!
  9. I am on day 12 of a 14 day liquid diet...it does get better...but it isn't a picnic by any means! Good Luck!!
  10. I am curious about the cost....I just ordered my Lovenox (sp) shots and all I had to pay is $5...I am wondering if I should be expecting another bill. just add another bill to the pile at this point :wink1:
