  1. Get some coconut milk, drink apple juice, or chicken broth. I'd even drink some cream of chicken if you are feeling weak as long as you aren't on clears.
  2. Hip, aside from my initial weight loss I have lost on a very step sort of chart. I will stay the same weight for 3 weeks, go up two pounds and then lose 5-6. Then the same thing happens again. YES! It is discouraging. You can help it along by staying under 40g carbs/day. It will make your loss bigger in your losing week. NOW I am challenging you to measure yourself. Just take a few if you are lazy like I am with measurments. Do your neck, thighs and chest. Watch those! A few months ago I lost 3lbs...3 MFin pounds. (Not watching my carbs! Grr) but I went from size 18 to size 16 in that month. It was a huge difference in sizes but not so much on the scale.
  3. Woohooo! That's great news!
  4. Woohoo! Thats' great, Hope. Kudos to your hubby for being supportive. My hubby was uber supportive though a litlte scared and it's made all the difference. He still listens to me go on and on about the Sleeve and losing weight. Just wait till you drag him with you to try on bazillions of clothes
  5. You should be dancing in your running pants! CONGRATS!
  6. Thanks everyone Amanda- I love rowing! Monday is my last class in the "learning to row" and I move on to "novice". It is a good work out. There is another girl bigger than me there and a couple bigger guys in another class. Anytime you feel ready there really isnt any reason not to start!
  7. You will be fine if you pull up your boot straps and get with it. You know do you really really want this? I think you do. You do! You won't feel that battle with food any longer. It's only 9 days so get your ass into gear, Kerry. You can do it! BTW they WILL cancel your surgery if your liver so too slippery.
  8. If we have Plastics will that take off some of the already fat cells we have? What about lipo? Just curious.
  9. PFtttt I chew gum and have since day 1. Just make sure not to swallow it early out and don't forget to count the carbs/cals in it. I can chew 15 pieces in a day and that's 30 carbs! EEK
  10. It's so okay to be nervous! Take it from us on the other side, it's worth the risk. If you have found a good surgeon and you follow the guidelines you have done what you can.
  11. I get chicken wings or I just slide the toppings off the pizza and don't eat the crust. I tried the low carb pizza crust last night, don't waste your time!
  12. Dr Aceves does everything he can to make sure you never have to go to another Dr or Hospital. If you follow his instructions I think you will be fine. If something does happen you can just go to the ER, they have to treat you. Don't even use the word Mexico, it can freak the poor US doctors out and give them penis envy. You will be fine!
  13. A 3lb gain can just be from muscle or from too much salt in your diet. Keep following the rules and getting exersize and you will be fine.
  14. Thanks everyone! It's so odd to put that I weigh 198. One anything is crazy! @Diva- I did notice how simular we are I can't help but compare myself. Unintentionally I set the same July 4th goal as you. I look at your pictures and I think, man she's skinny. It's odd how we don't see ourselves clearly.
  15. Alexis you look amazing! THat dress compliments you so well!
  16. If I have one off day I gain weight, a pound or two. Mine was the day before Easter. We went to a pizza buffett. Pizza is my biggest downfall. I had 5 pieces, including a desert piece and a glass of sweet tea. This was streched out over 2 hours while we were visiting a friend. Just goes to show that you CAN eat around your sleeve and we must work for it. I was back on it yesterday and today. Keep your chin up, everyone has slipups.
  17. Sleeve 4 Me you are so freakin' cute! Congrats to all
  18. Great graph. After the second month out I started my stair weight loss too. I stay the same or bouce up 2lbs for 3 weeks then lose 5-8lbs in one week. It's been that way for months Nothing seems to break teh stall but I lose more if I stay on low carb.
  19. Woohoo! FANTASTIC NEWS! How strange to be writting 1XX

WOOHOO! After today's overeating (Evil evil carb monster/wine/pizza buffet) I'd say I'll be the same tomorrow if not higher.

I'm 5'6" too My weight loss is about 8lbs a month now hopefully I'll boost that up with rowing and I'm going to start working out. I have .8 to get to 199...I was 199 when I was in the 8th grade.
