  1. I'd say....you're doing fantastic!
  2. Catfish is my biggest supporter! So happy to see him in the spotlight!
  3. I love the Pure Protein ready-to-drink shakes. Had one for breakfast actually.
  4. Have you tried the ready-to-drink shakes? I like GNC Total Lean and Pure Protein the best.
  5. Weight Watchers Smart Ones have some pretty good breakfast items. I typically have a protein shake and Greek yogurt with granola or oatmeal.
  6. Great job! Congrats to you!!
  7. I'm learning to love the new "normal." I DO NOT miss big girl clothes, all the medications and looking miserable in pictures! Do I miss pizza and and cheeseburgers? Not really. There's something about feeling better and looking better that just isn't worth that pizza anymore.
  8. I love my Nikes, but I have read that Brooks are good running shoes. I would recommend a specialty store if you are serious about it and have then fit you with the best running shoe you can afford. Congrats to you!
  9. I feel your pain! Just remember that you're doing this for YOURSELF and if someone cannot be supportive of that, they can hit the road. You DESERVE to be healthy, treated with respect and be supported. Don't settle for anything less than that. Keep doing your thing girl. You are WORTH IT!
  10. I've been seeing this on FB and I'm tempted too.
  11. Buffalo Chicken Salad (no dressing). Yum!
  12. MIne started shortly after surgery, but has slowed down quite a bit now. I'm six months post-op.
  13. The doctors I manage will just do the pre-op exam/testing based on what the surgeon is requiring. Unless you have a cardiac history, it seems that another EKG would be unnecessary. Just my opinion. I would just make an appointment for the pre-op exam then question the need for another EKG and blood tests directly with your PCP. Make him/her explain to you why its necessary. Good luck!
  14. Is your surgeon requiring a pre-op EKG and blood work? If not, he should just examine you and complete the required paperwork regardless of his personal opinion regarding lap band.
  15. Interesting....thanks for sharing!
  16. Way to go! Just listen to your body and go for it!
  17. Best wishes on your new journey!
  18. It's taken me 8 fills to get it right. Please be patient, track your calories and keep moving. You will get there. Best wishes.
  19. You are doing GREAT!
  20. WOWWEE!! You look great! Go Spurs!
  21. Congratulations on your loss and upcoming surgery!
