I love the Pure Protein ready-to-drink shakes. Had one for Breakfast actually.

Frosty chocolate. I don't like the powder, but the ready-to-drink ones taste like chocolate milk to me. I also like GNC Total Lean vanilla Bean. Good luck!

I like muscle milk , lean shakes from GNC and pure protein.. I don't do a lot of them unless I get a fill.. but sometimes if I'm in a rush I will drink one for breakfast....

After reading several posts about the same topic (Protein Powder), I have decided it is an acquired taste. What one person loves, another does not.

For example, I could not tolerate Bariatric Advantage Protein Powder. I tried three different flavors and wasted a lot of money. The one I do like (and, again, others may not) is the UNflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury. I add it to my morning O.J. or yogurt. For shakes, I use the Dole Shakers (fruit flavored) and add the Unjury Protein.< /p>

Keep experimenting and hopefully you will find one that works. I, myself, am a protein snob ---> so I completely understand your frustration

I love the premier nutrition Protein Shakes from costco. They have vanilla and chocolate. I've tried a lot of shakes being 4 years out and they are by far the best tasting ones.

I really enjoy the EAS whey Vanilla Powder shakes from BJ's. With a shaker, fat free milk and lots of ice, it tastes like the vanilla shakes from White Castle. The next great thing is that is gives you 26g of Protein. A 5lbs bag costs $32.00

At almost 2 years post surgery, I still drink this Protein Shake on an average of 3 times a week.

My favorite Protein Shakes are the Syntrax Nectar powders. They're shakes are really good. You can order a sample pack at BJ's Bariatrics. You'll be pleasantly surprised! Don't forget to put the Water in first, then add the powder. It mixes better that way.

I too like the Nectar... they have many flavors, I prefer the chocolate truffle.... you can get a sample pack from them fro 13.99 shipped for 12 sample pack.... it's on their website http://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm .. it's a good way to try a bunch of their flavors without a big cost

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
