I like muscle milk , lean shakes from GNC and pure protein.. I don't do a lot of them unless I get a fill.. but sometimes if I'm in a rush I will drink one for breakfast....

After reading several posts about the same topic (Protein Powder), I have decided it is an acquired taste. What one person loves, another does not.

For example, I could not tolerate Bariatric Advantage Protein Powder. I tried three different flavors and wasted a lot of money. The one I do like (and, again, others may not) is the UNflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury. I add it to my morning O.J. or yogurt. For shakes, I use the Dole Shakers (fruit flavored) and add the UNjury protein.

Keep experimenting and hopefully you will find one that works. I, myself, am a protein snob ---> so I completely understand your frustration

My doctor told me to get EAS carb control, u can find a 24 pack at Sams for about $27. They have chocolate and vanilla and they are pretty good. Hth

My favorite protein shakes are the Syntrax Nectar powders. They're shakes are really good. You can order a sample pack at BJ's Bariatrics. You'll be pleasantly surprised! Don't forget to put the water in first, then add the powder. It mixes better that way.

I love the premier nutrition protein shakes from Costco. They have vanilla and chocolate. I've tried a lot of shakes being 4 years out and they are by far the best tasting ones.

Add fruit , fresh or frozen, helps a lot. Just count the calories. Worked for me !!!!

I really enjoy the EAS Whey Vanilla Powder shakes from BJ's. With a shaker, fat free milk and lots of ice, it tastes like the vanilla shakes from White Castle. The next great thing is that is gives you 26g of protein. A 5lbs bag costs $32.00

At almost 2 years post surgery, I still drink this protein shake on an average of 3 times a week.

I too like the Nectar... they have many flavors, I prefer the chocolate truffle.... you can get a sample pack from them fro 13.99 shipped for 12 sample pack.... it's on their website http://www.si03.com/reg_index.htm .. it's a good way to try a bunch of their flavors without a big cost

I actually took a surprising liking to BOOST High Protein Rich Chocolate. And I am extremely picky. That's all I have now.

My doctor which im sure every doctor has there preference sugested pure protien well I found it but since I live in rual missouri all they have is frosty choco... and I didnt much care for it but have gotten alittle more used to it but still asked the department manager if she could see about getting me maybe 3 of the vanilla... im not sure if I would wanna try to cookies and cream although it does sound good lol

After trying several I locked in on the Premier Protein chocolate. I get by he case at Costco. One trick I learned on here is the COLDER the shake the more palatable it is.

The ONLY one I like is the GNC Lean Shake in chocolate
