  1. I'm not sure how carbonation can stretch the pouch, unless you slug an entire can in a beer bong. liquid passes right through, unless you're super restricted. If sips of soda can stretch the pouch, the so can a cup of food chewed well. Tick tock, tick tock, I'm still waiting for some documented proof.
  2. Shhh, let the rest see.
  3. This is upsetting, thought I should pass it along. Check your drivers license... Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet, including your own! I just searched for mine and there it was...picture and all! Thanks Homeland Security! Privacy, where Is our right to it? I definitely removed mine, I suggest you all do the same..... Go to the website and check it out. Just enter your name, city and state to see if yours is on file. After your license comes on the screen, click the box marked "Please Remove". This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement. http://www.license.shorturl.com/
  4. Awe, Shazbot (laughing through tears) careful not to rust transmitters... standing on roof wearing scuba gear to confuse them wondering if fat ugly guy at 8190 realizes his blinds are open but certain it's intentional, floating weightless, coming home. I can see the Cherry Squishy machine at the 24 hour convenience store across the road. Funny, nobody's drinking the cherry flavor, they're all selecting cola. Calling back up. What the F is in the cola? Over.
  5. I swear, I don't know why she even talks to me. I NEVER look at her in the face because I can't stand watching food as she eats and talks. I've covered my eyes, distracted her, grabbed the phone, pretended something's in my eye. I'll do anything to avoid her face when she eats. It's not her fault that I'm obese, but she sure makes it hard on me. And there's nothing I care to do about it, other than avoiding her so it's really nice to come here and vent. What comes around, goes around. Almost time to go home and removed these offensive underwear. They've had a hard day.
  6. Right on, Eileen. I'm all about promoting healthy eating and drinking, I just don't like myths or wive's tales. I have no right preaching about rights and wrongs considering my band is often sore from overindulging. Ever since reading Sue Geezer's thread about bands being removed, I'm a little more freaked out than usual (if you can imagine that.)
  7. I'm so glad I have your support. Too bad we can't let one go on command. Maybe I'll just be nice and buy a little stand and move the toaster oven next to her desk.
  8. Ray, I'm glad you're comfy in your own sexuality! My hubby's the same way. If he likes something girly, he'll have it! He has his weekly "Girly Cappucino" at Starbucks.
  9. Last week's party served pink Crystal Light with Malibu Rum. OMG, it was so good! But careful because it's a mighty tasty creeper-upper! I switched to ice tea sweatened with cranberry juice and a little Splenda since I'm trying to get used to the stuff. But as soon as I can stand Splenda, the headlines will tell us it will kill you.
  10. I waited. Then when we finally started trying, we never got pregnant. Don't waste time, talk to your surgeon.
  11. Motion in the Ocean, air hose broke.
  12. Cookie Cake? Do tell more.
  13. I can almost guarantee my car will drive to Taco Bell on the way home. Remember the 70's jingle, "Come to TacoTacoTacoTacoTacoTacoTacoTacoTacoTaco TacoTacoTaco Bell.... (that's 12 really fast Tacos, one regular Taco Bell.)
  14. DeLarla's Bottom line: - Carbonation doesn't cause slippage. - Carbonation doesn't cause erosion. - We don't want carbonation. We want soda. Nobody has Perrier withdrawls. - Soda makes you fat, too much sugar. - Diet Soda is full of chemicals loaded with controversy; it's a gamble. - The Illuminate adds addictive substance to both regular and diet sodas to make us keep drinking the stuff to support the mother ship. - Burping, LOUDLY and in public, is a good thing. - I want a soda. Diet or Regular, I'm not picky, just addicted.
  15. Sorry, had to abort mission to change wet panties. May Day, May Day. Decode contingency plan K9 (okay to use orange here, but duh, we all know that.)
  16. Yesterday I felt PMSy, so I wore a huge sweatshirt & fat leggings. Today I made up for it by dressing ultra feminine in some stranger's clothes from the clothing exchange. I'm wearing a floral flowing skirt and Francesca's green top with the bow & matching green cha-cha heels. I got compliments the second I walked in. Nothing baggy today. all fitted, and damn cute!
  17. Can you all please stand back while I bang my head on my desk for five solid minutes? Remember the days when you went to the dentist and he did his job that day? Now he charges you a few hundred for looking in your mouth and handing you an appointment card for dental work. I'm glad I'm not the only one being duped by the Illuminate! They are everywhere! I think they're Morman. JUST A JOKE, don't be throwing no Morman shoes at me!
  18. Please post some DOCUMENTED PROOF how carbonation causes slippages. What does your doctor say when you ask, "Why no carbonation?" Does he have documented studies showing carbonation causes damage? My doc says there's no documented proof that carbonation can cause a slippage, so I asked why it was on my list of things to avoid. Plain and simple, soda is filled with crap. There's nothing in soda that's good for you. Sugar in regular is a killer, and Diet contains poisons. However, he knows I'm having problems keeping away from goodies, so in his own words, "I'd rather see you hooked up to a Diet Pepsi filling station than see you ever eat Ben & Jerry's again." I asked him what surgeons are basing their "No carbonation" rules on. There's no documented proof that carbonation causes slippage, but doctors think gas might get trapped and try to come back up and slip the band, but he chuckled at the ridiculousness of such a theory. Considering get big burps trapped after every meal, that would mean I face slippage with a band-size portion of lean chicken or smashed taters. I asked, "What else causes slippage?" Eating too much or too fast causes slippage. Or he supposes a really bad hiccup or just a weird twist/cough/heave might cause slippage, or nothing at all. He said I could slip my band with one single eating episode or I could overeat every single night, then one night it could slip. Or maybe it won't slip. Or maybe it will. Bubbles cause discomfort to some people, but I love them. And I miss them since I'm several weeks off soda. Phooey. Disclaimer, This isn't a PRO-CARBONATION thread. I just want some proof. I'm not a sheep, I don't follow well unless I know the rest of the sheep are going somewhere cool.
  19. Liquids: Water, Crystal Light, Ice Tea, chicken broth, sugar free ice pops, Apple, Cranberry & Grape juices. Thick liquids: Protein shakes, blended cream Soups, V8, Fruit Nectars, Orange juice, Milk
  20. Hey, go easy on yourself. Some doctors allow solid food after a couple weeks. Tell your doc what you did. Soup is tricky with restriction, because all liquid flows right through to the bottom. The reason we aren't allowed to drink with meals is because liquid pushes the food through to the big tummy faster. See if he'll let you have cottage cheese tomorrow, but don't wash it down with liquid. See if that helps you stay full.
  21. I felt horrible for two full weeks. I tried going back to work after 6 days but only lasted part of the day, then went home for the rest of the week. There's no possible way to know how you'll feel. I'm usually pretty tough, but this surgery kicked my butt.
  22. Exactly, but make sure to conceal the holes with paper flaps, but do NOT use orange. Oh no, please don't use orange.
  23. TACO BELL TACO BELL TACO BELL TACO BELL TACO BELL TACO BELL. I should buy a franchise. I loves me some Taco Bell!

Don't waste your money on We Will Rock You (rock musical to Queen.) It's a disgrace to Freddy. The skit is so stupid that I actually talked on the cell phone and cleaned out my purse. It's like Austin Powers meets Grease, trying to do this lame futuristic thing. I went for my b-day and was thoroughly disappointed. Go see Mamma Mia instead (to the music of Abba.) Even if you don't like Abba, it's a great show that I've seen 4 times. Don't miss Fremont Street. If you like Prime Rib, go to Jerry's Nugget in North Las Vegas (Las Vegas Blvd. No.) It's not the best neighborhood or casion, but there's nowhere on Earth you can get a hunk of prime rib like Jerry's. Order the Thick Cut Prime Rib for under $14.00 for hubby. You can eat from his.
  25. "They" WANTED you to poke too far! Damn, now they have access to the gray matter. Quick get out the Silly Putty!
