  5. I've lost 169 lbs and have 6 more to go... I really secretly want to lose 13 more which would be a total lost of 182 lbs... I will be one year post op on feb 21st
  6. Are you worried about the integrity of your pouch? If so then the hernia could be looked at as a blessing in disguise because you would know for sure. Good luck
  7. Greek yogurts are a soft food that has great protein and will bump caloric intake. I honestly never worried about calories just tried to keep protein at 70-90 grams a day.
  8. Is joining weight watchers an option? Good plan and weekly weigh ins are great documentation.
  9. Anniesmom.. do you work and if so how long did you take off after having the proceedure. They gave me a saddleblock to help with post pain at home and advised me not to work tomorrow. But also work Saturdays for about 5 hours and was wondering if that was feasible. At home feeling pretty good right now. Got some great drugs. lol!! Made the mistake of getting on the scale and forgot that the iv fluids make you gain alot.... so gonna ignore that weight and weigh again Sunday.

  11. wow that seems a little unrealistic to have to lose 50 lbs in 2 months. I would go on some sort of 2 meals of protein shakes and then one healthy meal. But seriously that seems crazy.

  16. Premium pouch space should be reserved for protein!!! Especially only weeks out!!!
  17. You got this!!! Buy some different samples and find the protein drink that works for you. I like the one from Walmart.. Chocolate. Don't buy too much of the one you like now because you will more then likely hate it after surgery!!
