  2. You have really done a great job, you look fantastic! Bet it even feels much better riding. You've inspired me with your success.
  3. I haven't sipped yet but it is sooooo hard not too drink while eating. I guess it is just a habit with me. Now I make sure I do not have drink anywhere around:)
  4. Great suggestions, I'm four weeks post-op and suffering from constipation. Sound like I need fiber and milk of magnesia:)
  5. Congrats! Welcome to the losers bench. I felt much better at the hotel and in that cozy bed:)
  6. I had toenail polish and shaved legs with Dr Garcia, no problem.
  7. Good luck... On on your way to a happier lifestyle. Nerves are normal, but it will be over before you know it:)
  8. Wow...great job, how exciting! I can only dream of getting there. Enjoy:)
  9. The Westin will also have shampoo and conditioner, if you don't want to bring your own. Maybe bring a book or reader since your on your own. I brought crystal light powder single servings to put in my water...helped a lot. Bring gas ex strips. Also don't overpack the clothes, you won't need them and you can't lug heavy luggage after surgery. Good luck, you'll do fine:)
  10. My surgeon said no swimming or baths for 4 weeks. He also said all scabs should be gone. It was hard after surgery sitting by the pool at the Marriott and not jumping in:)
  11. Is lunch your only solid foods? What do you eat at other meals?
  12. I love it too, but added a hard boiled egg to it for more protein.....yum:)
  13. I also have hypothyroid, actually my thyroid was removed due to a goiter and multi nodules. I looked at this surgery as a way to finally lose weight and keep it off. So far it seems to be working:).
  14. Your doing fantastic....keep on losing you got it now!
  15. Way to go!! It'll make labor day that much sweeter when your even further down from your goal! Lookin forward to see that 250 myself, hopefully by labor day:)
  16. Great job, you'll get more energy once you start the protein.
  17. I'm 5'9" and my goal weight is 160 at least, maybe 150. I remember that weight and it has been a long time since I've seen it:). I was size 10 to 12, but not that concerned with size as long as I never have to go to the plus section again!
  18. I have lost 25 lbs since my July18th surgery. Still trying hard to get all my liquids in, have finally been getting my protein down. Not working out yet, but can start on Wednesday:)
  19. So far I have taken the path of only my husband and myself know about my surgery for this very reason. Our families live out of state so we haven't even told them. I just didn't feel like dealing with the haters. When I was deciding rather to tell a few friends, my husband cautioned me, if you tell some, more will find out. Just hoe people are, sad but true. Just move on and keep on losing....this too shall pass:)
  20. Hard work really does payoff...you look GREAT!
  21. I love that story! Congrats and keep on losing:)
  22. I would just tell them your trying to do some strict dieting, they'll soon notice anyway. No need to tell the about your surgery, just say it's a doctor supervised diet:)That way you can still be present and socialize.
  23. Candy 1980 I feel so bad for you. But I am glad and proud of you that you are seeking help. Hopefully you'll get past this . Maybe try things that you really liked before the sleeve in little amounts, just so you experience different foods. Than if this is successful maybe you can return to only real healthy foods. Just a thought, best of luck and keep us posted:)
  24. Wow 30 inches is huge! Your doing great.....keep up the losing:)
  25. I hope your approval will go quickly, so you will never have to face this awful dilemma again:) just keep positive and focus on the fact that soon you will begin to fit in everything and most of your current clothes will need to be replaced with stylin smaller clothes.
