  1. I'm the same way. I was told it was ok to take a Xanax the morning of surgery, and everything was dandy. But still ask your dr.

  3. I am losing... Yay! Arms, legs, butt, face everywhere except my belly. I guess I'm losing inches but in pictures my belly is just so THERE! I know I'm just impatient but I want to look as good as I'm feeling.

  5. I'm in the same boat. I've just decided that I'm gonna suck it up. This is a small payment for getting the weight off and getting healthy. It'll settle down soon. (I hope)

  12. Feeling really good. Down 18! Lbs. I do get tired easily but still trying to stay active. Fluids are going well, but so hard to get anything down. Every sip and bite makes this horrible pain happen in the middle of my chest. Dr today showed me the pictures of my swallow test. There is a small narrowing between sphincters and he says that's why I'm getting that pain. Told me to keep plugging away. Thin out what I am Eating and take small but more frequent sips. Thank you south for checking in on me!!!

  15. I can't drink anything aside from water either. Everything tastes too sweet.
  16. I was lucky in that I had no gas pains whatsoever with this surgery. I've had it with prior surgeries, and the only thing that helped was walking. It's so damn uncomfortable. I hope it passes for you soon.

  19. Good morning all! Today is one week since I was sleeved, I am down 14lbs. (27 total since preop diet). I feel good. I'm still on a liquid only diet, but am allowed to have thinned hot cereals. I'm having alot of discomfort when eating or drinking anything so I wind up getting only a bite in here and there. It kinda feels as if my pouch cramps up when food enters it. Water too. Warm things definitely go down easier than cold. I have a check up with my surgeon tomorrow, he'll tell me I guess if this is normal. I'm struggling to get any protien in. Fluids are up to par though. Have a great day fellow sleevers!!!

  25. Good luck to you as well. I had my final preop appointment today. I've lost 20 lb since getting my date scheduled! They said that loss shows them I mean business and that I should do well with my sleeve. They've set a goal for me to be 129lb..... What???? I can not even imagine that number. I'm so excited, for my self as well as everyone here. I hope everyone will post before and after shots as we all progress. God bless.
