Good luck to you as well. I had my final preop appointment today. I've lost 20 lb since getting my date scheduled! They said that loss shows them I mean business and that I should do well with my sleeve. They've set a goal for me to be 129lb..... What???? I can not even imagine that number. I'm so excited, for my self as well as everyone here. I hope everyone will post before and after shots as we all progress.

August 30 is my one-year surgiversary. Congrats to you both on your dates and I'm so looking forward to seeing your journeys unfold!!!

I am on day 3 of 7 day liquid preop. It was killing me yesterday. My mother in law brought over 30 (!) cupcakes for the kids and my husband made BBQ for dinner. Ugh!
I took myself to the gym and took my frustrations out on the elliptical. Still wanted a cupcake! I did take a swipe at the frosting and immediately felt guilty.
I am trying to keep my eye on the prize and know that I can get through this. My surgery is 8/30, can't wait!

The coordinator just called and let me know that I was approved!!! She said she had a bunch of people waiting for her with appointments etc. but she wanted to let me know that the approval went through and she would be calling me back later to schedule the surgery etc.
So excited, just had to share! :D :D :D :D

That would be like wanting a picture of my ex to remind me of what my major problem in life was. No thanks! I don't miss that part of my stomach one bit!

What a happy thought! Fingers crossed my insurance approves and this is the last 4th of July for me at this weight too!
