  1. Good luck to you as well. I had my final preop appointment today. I've lost 20 lb since getting my date scheduled! They said that loss shows them I mean business and that I should do well with my sleeve. They've set a goal for me to be 129lb..... What???? I can not even imagine that number. I'm so excited, for my self as well as everyone here. I hope everyone will post before and after shots as we all progress. God bless.
  2. Good luck. I'm right behind you on 8/30!
  3. This has happened to me as well! On day 4 with nothing! I really figured it would be quite the opposite.
  4. I am 8/30/12. I'm right here with you! It's difficult but I'm surviving. Good luck to you!!
  5. I too am so grateful for this site. There's a great sense of relief that comes with associating with people who are in the same boat, with very similar goals. I enjoy reading everyone's posts. Lots of laughs, tears and great bits of knowledge shared here. Love this sleeve family!!
  6. I am on day 3 of 7 day liquid preop. It was killing me yesterday. My mother in law brought over 30 (!) cupcakes for the kids and my husband made BBQ for dinner. Ugh! I took myself to the gym and took my frustrations out on the elliptical. Still wanted a cupcake! I did take a swipe at the frosting and immediately felt guilty. I am trying to keep my eye on the prize and know that I can get through this. My surgery is 8/30, can't wait!
  7. I've been lurking for a while. I am scheduled for surgery in just 14 days. This is the year I take back my life, my health, my body. I'm so excited to take this first step. All of you have been a wealth of help and information whether you've realized it or not.
