  1. Tickiest2thick, I have a question...When you called the psych dept did you have to meet with a Therapist first? then be referred to the Psychiatrist for the actual appt? Which means co-pay $35 bucks a pop, yuck. Did you just speak to the Therapist or did you go straight to the Psychiatrist?

  15. So sorry to hear that your husband is not being understanding and supportive. This journey that you are on is NOT EASY at all. You have made a decision to change for the best and to become healthy. I wonder if he fears that you losing this weight will change what you feel for him. I hear it often that women who lose major weight end up losing their significant others along with the weight. This is a life change, and it's all for the good. I pray that your hubby comes around and realizes that you do need him and his support during this process. Always know that there are plenty of great people on this awesome site that will offer that support anytime. Keep your head up and I am praying for a compassionate and understanding heart for the hubby!
  16. Looking good, great progress!!!
  17. Not sleeved yet and still waiting for a date, but I was curious as I was eating a pickle last night and was like OMG can I even have one after I am sleeved. Lol...thank you for the info, I feel better now...
  18. Hi Ema76, first off WOW...sorry to hear that your are required to do 24 weeks. Sheesh, that is a long run of classes. I am in Corona and attened class at Kaiser in Corona, they only required 12 weeks of the Options class. I have completed my class, all my labs, and had my medical review on last Friday. Now, I wait for the final referral to the surgeon. I am not sure what happens from that point, from what I understand I would have to attend a seminar for the surgeon and that is all I know thus far. I have heard that all surgeons are different and have different requirements. Wish you the best on your journey, please keep us informed!
  19. Ok, so just wondering if pickles are ok to eat after being sleeved? I love pickles and they are 0 calories, just wondering about the texture? Does anyone happen to know?
  20. Great question, that actually my hubby has already asked in advance as I don't even have a sleeve date yet...lol!
  21. Good luck on your trip and the surgery, wishing you the best!!!
  22. You look freaking fabulous!!!!
