  1. Aligayle...I don't have a choice, lol. He already said there is no choice, he is going. After reading all the comments I guess it is and will be a good thing that he go with me. I do appreciate the fact that he is taking inerest in what i have decided to do to change ME and my life for the better. I hope it wears off on hit a hit too, lol.

  4. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback, this is all uncharted waters and I just want it to be as positive as possible. Gosh, I love this site!!!!
  5. He is very scary about surgery and any type of procedure. So it's that possibilty of him being negative about the procedure or the process. Although he has been support thus far, just have the bit of hesitation.

  7. I am not sure I want him to go, but he is insisting and I appreciate that he cares enough to want to go with me. What do you guys think?
  8. So we have Kaiser through my hubby and he received a letter just last week stating they were going changing the deductible and the co-pay amount. We went from $10 co-pay to $35, and went from $0 on the hospital pay to $500. So now i have to pay for the Sleeve, I know it's less then what others have paid but dang $500 bucks when I was anticipating zero. The kicker is that all this went into effect on July 1st, and we didn't know until we received the letter last week. Oh well....

  11. Storm, yes it has been a rough week. That whole not knowing thing sucks big time, but so thankful it's a clear. I am just excited to go to the next step!

  13. Ok, so last week I was not happy, my pre-op ultrasound showed a shadow area on my kidney. Dr. ordered a CT to see if it was benign, I am so thankful to God....it's not the C word. Now I can proceed to my Sleeve process, meeting with Dr. on Friday with hopes of getting approved. Thanks everyone who gave me kind words and prayers, :) :rolleyes: I am praising God!
