  4. I have learned that if you let your self get the point of "starving", it's much harder to eat slowly and -that's when that last bite of doom happens for me. It's a learning experience but you will only take that "one more bite" a couple of times before you realize the pain, discomfort and possible vomiting from it. Good luck!!
  5. I had not thought about it but great idea! Thanks!
  6. Congrats!! I had an NSV last night that is probable trivial for most but I was able to stand up from sitting on the ground without rolling over on all 4's first! YAY for NSV's!!
  7. I use string cheese, 100 calorie bag of almonds is pretty perfectly portioned for me, pork rinds and powdered protein. I measure it out and put it in a small container and then just mix it with a bottle of water. Good luck!!
  8. Fantastic!! Being off all of your meds is so awesome! I know the feeling (on a smaller level) of the bmi. I updated my ticker and went from Morbidly obese to clinically obese! It's a start in the right direction! Kudos!
  9. I don't know how far post op you are but it will come in time. I am almost 12 weeks post op and I am just now being able to get my liquid in. I keep a Water bottle with me and drink as much as I can. Good luck!
  10. Thank you all!!!! I will keep you posted!

  12. Can anyone shed some light on how I am suppose to be breathing? I seem to be out of breath within a few steps. I assume it's my technique. Not sure but I like to jog I just need to learn how to breathe.
  13. I had a hard time in the beginning. Now I am 2 months post op and hav an app on my phone reminding me to drink water ever so often. It gets better!
  14. Thank you for sharing with us! You are inspiring!
  15. I liked the muscle milk light!
  16. I was worried too but my doc insisted that if I follow the preop diet it would. He said he can tell as soon as he gets in if the person cheted on the diet or not.
