What Did You Tell Your Friends?
I haven't had the surgery yet, and I'm at the beginning process I guess you could say.I have pretty much kept it private that I'm working toward getting the surgery, and my main reason is because I fear it not happening, or not getting approved and I don't want to have to tell people that things fell through. Those I have told have ALL been super supportive, and understanding! However, I have started a Youtube channel where I plan on starting to blog, or as I call it Vblog, and I would like to discuss WLS in my journals! SO I'll probably start telling more people soon!

What Do You Like About Yourself? It's A Tell All!
I love my pale skin, black hair, and blue eyes! The three together really makes my eyes pop! I love the fact that I have really pointy fingers! I love that my hair is naturally curly. I have an English accent even though I've lived in Ohio my entire life, and no one in my family is from England! Actually they are from Kentucky. For some strange reason I have an accent, always have. Like Lyra I march to my own beat, I always say I march to the beat of my own drum. I love my passion for nature, and animals. I'm loyal to my family first and then my friends. I've always been the one to stick up for the "under dog"

I = Boring!
I have not had the surgery yet so I cannot relate. I will say though, that I hope things start to change. It's hard to find a new hobby when you can't do much due to recovery. Things may change once your recovery turns to living!! You may find new hobbies that you enjoy (I suggest getting into photography!lol).

Medicare ..is It Approved
Different states have different policies when it comes to WLS. Here in Ohio to be approved for Sleeve I *believe* you have to have a BMI over 50, and a six month diet, or have been diagnosed with one or more co-morbid illness. And then I believe you still have tons of loops to jump through to be approved!

Breast Reconstruction? Need Advice!
My mom and I was just talking about this topic earlier today. I haven't been sleeved yet, but after reading several posts on here I am wondering if I will actually lose these things once the weight starts falling off? I too am genetically well endowed so I worry they won't go down much I know what a pain they are too (especially in the back)! I hope yours start to shrink soon! Maybe they will be the last thing to go.

Im Hungry Every 2 Hours- Only 27 Days Post Op...?!?! Is This Normal
I have not had the surgery yet, but from what I have gathered sometimes people have issues with acid,which gives you the feeling of being hungry. Of course please correct me if I am wrong. I would talk to your dr. and if that's it see about getting put on meds to help!

Major Bump In The Road
I am so sorry to hear this I can't even imagine how that would feel! I am currently trying to find funding, and come up with ways to pay for my surgery (no insurance) but I honestly think it would be more disappointing to have insurance go through every test, appointment, and pre-op diet, with a set date and be turned denied. That would just be a crushing blow, and it's hard not to get disappointed and discouraged I know, but to have it so close and then taken away would be a lot to handle. I'm sorry. And I think yecats said it best!

Now I know how I got to your blog (which I have saved in my favorites for easy access lol)! I always find such great encouragement from reading your blogs, and on days when I am feeling down, or just need a quick reminder of great the Lord is, I go and read one of your entries and I am quickly reminded of His love for me! Thank you!

Checking Out A Doctor
I have noticed people saying that we should check out the drs. credentials etc. Is there a website, or websites to do this? I'm guessing each state probably has their own website, or is there a national website with the info?

Disappointed!
Just out of curiosity how much weight are you down?
